There is no need to be wearing a mask outdoors. You're actually doing more harm to your health than good in this situation.

FYI you were taking a greater risk sucking off random cocks at the gloryhole than there currently is with covid19

Which is why I don't put one on until right before I enter a store and take it off as soon as possible after leaving. Wearing a mask is a pain when you also wear glasses and hearing aids. The elastic on the masks which goes around the ears gets tangled into them.

I think you missed where I made it clear I was wearing a mask for the protection of other folks more so than for my own protection. As best as I know, I don't have the virus, but if I did, there's a good chance I wouldn't have symptoms since I seem to be immune to the flu....having never knowingly had it during my entire lifetime.

The risk I took getting sucked off that one time when I was young and careless was negligible as compared to walking around in a crowd of people almost daily, who might be infected with COVID-19.

FYI, since you have no investment in my health, either now or in the past, why did you bother to reply to my post? Seems more like you were looking for an opportunity to say something about glory holes. Perhaps you have some issues you aren't aware of.

Epic Stupidity on display

this guy is fat, ugly and orange!

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/05/white-house-break-up-of-coronavirus-task-force-237769

The Trump White House is planning to wind down its coronavirus task force in the coming weeks and instead ask agencies to take control of the response efforts.

“We’re having a conversation about that and about what the proper time is for the task force to complete its work,” Vice President Mike Pence said at a briefing for reporters on Tuesday. At that point, he added, the work would be moved to agencies like the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

“We’ve already begun to talk about a transition plan with FEMA,” Pence said.

The undoing of the coronavirus task force comes as the president has turned his attention almost entirely toward reopening the economy as more than a dozen states allow people to slowly return to businesses like hair salons and restaurants. By the end of the week, Trump’s top economic officials are expected to unveil new ideas for tax policy and regulatory changes to bolster the U.S. economy in the third and fourth quarters of the year — even as the death toll from the coronavirus continues to rise and the virus spreads to new areas of the country. Health officials remain concerned about an increase of cases in places like Chicago and Des Moines, Iowa.

“I believe we can be in a very different place in late May or early June,” Pence said. “We’re going to start to look at the Memorial Day window to transition back to having our agencies manage our response in a more traditional manner.”

Top officials on Tuesday said they are seeing a decrease in hospitalizations and have already received reopening plans from 41 states so far, which they consider encouraging. Dr. Deborah Birx, one of the top health experts on the task force, said the administration is keeping a close eye on long-term care facilities, group housing, Native American communities, prisons and workers that have group housing, in the hopes of quelling any oubreaks quickly.

All these developments are being taken into account, officials said, as they determine the necessity of the task force moving forward. The future of the task force will be based on the health conditions, aides said. Pence characterized the discussion of dissolving the task force as “preliminary.”

Inside the White House, there has also been discussion of creating a new and smaller group to supplant the task force — focused on developing a vaccine and therapeutics. Pence said this project, dubbed "Operation Warp Speed," is “almost like a Manhattan Project-style effort to develop a vaccine.”

Health officials and other aides inside the White House are not happy about the upcoming dissolution of the task force, given the ongoing spread of the virus, said one source familiar with the discussions. But in recent days the task force had been meeting less frequently as a group, said a second person familiar with the task force.

“We're all still talking to each other, but we're just not coming together every day for an hour and a half to talk at each other as a group,” the person added. “For the health folks who are doing this stuff day to day, maybe from their perspective, this is more of a stand down.”

The unwinding of the task force was first reported by The New York Times.

Not only this, but the suit standing behind him who has no expression and nothing to say appears to be lifeless and soulless.

There are plenty of times on here where I've provided covid information weeks if not months before data became available to support it or it become common knowledge (see below). There are also posts where I gave you solid health advice. I also enjoy trolling, so why not kill 2 birds with one stone?

You're talking about people in the west are so narcissistic, and people not being able to cope. You're actually giving us a great example of this in this very thread.

People die regardless, this virus might just cut short some peoples time here by a decade or so. But this isn't a plague and humans aren't going go extinct cos of it.

If at the end of the year the overall death toll is similar to previous years then we can assume that the virus has had little impact on overall mortality, its likely the people dying now of covid would have probably died later this year anyway,, the vast majority had 4 or more serious health issues to start with.

Murphy extends N.J. coronavirus public-health emergency for 30 days. State of emergency remains in effect.

Gov. Phil Murphy announced Wednesday he’s extending the public-health emergency he declared in New Jersey over the coronavirus pandemic by 30 days.

Murphy declared both a state of emergency and a public-health emergency on March 9 as the pandemic was beginning to spread in New Jersey. He extended that order about a month later on April 7.

The executive order he signed Wednesday will keep it in place through at least June 5, the governor’s office said.

The state of emergency remains in place indefinitely, but the governor said the public-health emergency expires after 30 days.

“I want to make it absolutely clear that this action does not mean that we are seeing anything in the data which would pause our path forward and it should not be interpreted by anyone to mean we are going to be tightening any of the restrictions currently in place,” Murphy said at his daily coronavirus briefing in Trenton.

“This ensures we will continue on our current war footing for the coming month,” he aded. “The conditions underpinning this declaration have not changed — we are still in a public health emergency.”

Murphy also stressed that the state needs to continue to practice social distancing, including staying at home as much as possible, while keeping six feet away from people and wear a face mask when you go out.

“Remember, in the absence of a vaccine, or even proven therapeutics for COVID-19, our only cure is social distancing,” he said. “And we know that the efforts of millions of you are working.”

A state of emergency gives state authorities certain executive powers and safeguards to respond to a crisis. It also allows the state to receive federal aid.

A public-health emergency allows the governor to take action under the Emergency Health Powers Act. The order Murphy signed Tuesday extending it also “extends all actions taken by” any department of New Jersey’s executive branch in response to the virus, the governor’s office said.

New Jersey is in its seventh week of unprecedented restrictions after Murphy ordered residents to stay home, banned gatherings, and mandating nonessential businesses close to fight the virus. The governor made his first major step to lifting the orders this past weekend, as he allowed state and county parks and golf courses to reopen, with restrictions.

Some lawmakers, business leaders, and residents, are pushing Murphy to further loosen his orders as Memorial Day draws near — including allowing some stores to reopen with either curbside service or other social-distancing guidelines.

That’s as the state grapples with hundreds of thousands of people filing for unemployment and businesses suffer untold revenue losses.

But Murphy said Tuesday more progress needs to be made before he can further remove restrictions because cases and deaths continue to rise and social distancing remains the best tool to battle the virus. He also said he does not have a more definitive timeline.

“We gotta do it right,” the governor said. “We’ve got to do it responsibly, we’ve got to do it safely, and we are committed to that ... frankly, whether you like that or not.

The stats for Oregon which were published in today's newspaper, overwhelming show that the deaths in this state have been among those past the age of 60 and with compromising health conditions. Most of these folks were also residents of nursing homes. On a more positive note. The fellow who was the first known case in Oregon was just released from the hospital. Bet he's happy to be home. Many people are sent to nursing homes at the end of their life. One Oregon nursing home has had such a large number of COVID-19 related deaths that the government shut them down.

Swedens and German numbers are steadily heading lower and lower while America is going sideways. They have managed to do this without shutting down the whole country and committing economic suicide.

While many of us take jabs at Sweden for some of their policies, in this instance they were right and we went fucking retarded.

As a result of this panic way of thinking we are going to suffer economic hardship for a long, long time and the pain it will cause will make us regret putting any faith into any of these bone heads advising these asshat politicians.

If anything we have only postponed what would have happened anyway and now when they start opening up sections of the economy you'll see numbers bump up again, a media induced panic and another shutdown and/or mass social unrest, political divide, etc..
