You said psychology before. Which is not the same as psychiatry. Psychology is more of a pseudoscience. Which is it?
Both are sciences. But yes, there are some more "holistic" aspects to some parts psychology.
One can have a PHD in either field. Psychiatry tends to have more of a biological and pharmaceutical focus, and thus is arguably more empirical and "scientific" in that sense, whereas psychology is more behavioral focused. But please don't confuse either with crystal healing and fortune telling etc - both are legitimate, with extensive peer-reviewed studies to support.
