"lean bulk" is a waste of time
« on: March 21, 2020, 05:04:42 PM »
I firmly believe the lean bulk is a waste of time, since you are semi "cutting/bulking"  either you need to be in a calorie surplus or deficient.

if you want to make serious gains you need to put all your effort in one direction.

lean bulk is a good phrase to sell for fitness classes or BS programs imho.

right now I am in bulk mode and loving it. i havent bulked in a few years and its so fun  ;D

Yeah bulking is a blast, great pumps, clothes are tight and skin is fully stretched.

Yes until the moment you realize you are a fat fuck who couldn't get laid in a whorehouse with a fistful of fifties.

I think I'll stick with my 8pack framed by my obliques, intercostals and serratus muscles.

Never yet has one of the dimepieces I fuck approach me with a tape measure or ask what I'm benching.

You sir, are a worthy Getbigger.

I salute you.

i never knew this thread was about getting girls:

if you want to get pussy: go to do hot yoga and hit up the tanning beds and run a low dose of var + live in a city where there are actually good looking women.

I just need to add size before the USAs and bulking is the only way to do it.. lean bulking does not work

can we get some pics of the ripped 8 pack guys in this thread  ::) ???

want to get big? gotta eat big   ;D ;D

But people build muscle all the time without veering into obesity.

If  you're not competing and on gear, what would be the point of an extreme bulk followed by an extreme cut? Your body could only build so much muscle. Why bother going through the period where you look like shit?

I doubt an extreme bulk does anything for natural bodybuilders and I'm skeptical that it does much for "enhanced" athletes, either. It seems like open pro bodybuilders don't really do crazy bulks like in the 90s anymore.

What does a “lean bulk” consist of? Eating slightly above maintenance calories or bulking on “clean” foods? Or neither? Help me out here

that is pretty much it... and hence very little gains are made (either no fat loss occurs or and much muscle mass) y

eating 5000 calories over your maintenance wont give you any more muscle than eating 1000 over as long as you make sure you eat the 1000 every day

The reason huge excesses seems to work better is that you are always in a calorific excess and a positive nitrogen balance.

But also a fat fuck as well....

Counter point: BULKING is a waste of time.  Getting fat doesn't make you build muscle any quicker.  It's arguably counter productive (worsened insulin sensitivity, increased estrogen) and it will wreck your health.

Lean muscle mass is a function of gear intake.  Take more gear and eat enough food and you'll grow.

Fat cells give you better leverage.

You do realize that a fat cell - once developed - never goes away again, right? It can only shrink. Getting lean is getting harder with every single "bulk".

So have fun putting on tons of fat cells on your body til the point you won't be able to ever geat lean again (especially as a natty). Then you have no choice but running around with your permabulker dad-bod and tell yourself how strong and powerful you are as apposed to the "twinks" banging the hot chicks meanwhile. ;)
