You are being logical. When people are pushed beyond their limits, logic isn't a factor in decision making.

You’re correct - only issue is when that Anger & Rage Takes Over for some it’s not a time
They’re Thinking or Acting Rationally- As you say they’d have plenty of time for that kind of
Thinking in Prison.
