When gyms re-open most of the equipment people are buying now will be collecting dust and cobwebs.

many will continue to use their home gyms as many wont re-open, or will do so with silly rules. (book your three 1-hr blocks a week, wear a mask, etc).

Planet Fitness yes, but there's no way hardcore gyms are going to abide by such rules... when they first re-open maybe, but it won't last.

Normalcy will be back, but it's going to take a while.

A little north of me is supposedly a gym with no.employees and its open 24 hours you get a access keycard and pay monthly and gtg. Gym of the future imo. In fact, that is how gyms should have always.been

Also friend of mine says newsom going to move the bay area into phase 3 within a week or so. I nearly cried. I was googling this 24 hr gym when he tlld me, fully prepared to drive 2 hours each way to workout. Fantastic news if true.

hardcore gyms are hard to come by these days, most areas have gym that will try to follow silly rules, at least at first

I'll likely just keep doing upper body in my garage but will likely go to the gym for legs at least a couple of times a month just for the variety

Did Delts, Tris, Bis's, forearms last night and it was a good as any workout I've had at the gym
My gym workouts were 85% free weights so I'm not really missing out on anything by working out at home
Here are a couple more pics of the Ironmaster Super Bench Pro with the Dip and Chin Attachments

That's what I'll be doing.

Will go to gym once or twice a week for legs and to use the cable rows, lat pulldowns, triceps pulldowns and other machines.

The rest of my training will be at home, already have a bench, barbell, dumbbells, ez-bar and dip bars.

How stable is the pull-up and dip attachment on your bench??

pretty damn stable

They have two version of this bench and the "pro" version has an extra knob on the side that you can use to tighten it down do it doesn't shake at all and is quite sturdy.  Apparently this was a suggestion by people who had purchased the first version of this bench

The one thing I don't like about the bench is that the seat is too low for any kind of seated presses (at least for me)
I have two other benches, both of which adjust and one is perfect for seated presses so it's not a problem

I'm working on a cable set up.
This is from a company call Spud https://www.spud-inc-straps.com/econo-triceps-and-lat-pulley.html

I have this attached to the chin up bar/cross bar on the half rack
It's a bit too low for pushdowns but it's perfect for bent over tricept extensions

I'm going to attach a hook to the shelves just above the rack and that height should be perfect for pushdown

The chains keep the weight from swinging (I know it's only a matter of time until I crack one of those mirrors)

Here another landmine attachment and also leg curl/extension attachment for the bench
Can't really say I'm a fan of either one of these things.  I don't really care about leg extension but I really wanted the leg curl attachment and it's a single attachment.  It's not the greatest leg curl machine ever made but it's better than nothing  The land mine attachment is pretty good for stiff leg deadlift variation.  Other than that I haven't found much use for it.

my sister owns a few "barbell clubs" that are essentially just storage units, a rogue package and some industrial fans for a few years now. pay 200 a month, get a key and show up whenever you want

put a hook on my shelves so now the cable is the perfect height for pushdowns
hoping I don't pull the shelving down on top of my head

behind the rack you can see the wall organizer for all the super bench attachments

After I get over this 4 week cold I want to start training again. I got rid of all my equipment years ago so I have none.
What are others doing ?

i am looking at these: all the bands combined take the resistance up to 90 Lbs, attaches to the door as well.

Just join the rest of the looters and get some exercise by running with some large flat screen TVs .

Hey CalvinH, I don't see you much anymore. How's the hairline holding up. When are we going to get another pic of you in a department store dressing room?

I've had this for a bit but was offered a trade for the smith machine version.

Rouge bench and some dumbbells (still waiting on some backordered).

I have other odds and ends like a rack, bars, plates and may add some more pieces.

Pushing 60 now so don't need a lot to get a good workout and stay in shape.

Nice setup. I have these stupid cars in my garage (I have to park on the street or driveway) and no one is giving that up so I can work out so I don't have any room for gym equipment. Having a home gym would be a dream come true. I would be able to train by myself and not have to wait on people texting or watching TV hogging the machines. Why the hell do they have TVs in the weight room? I can understand in the "cardio" area but not in the weight room. As if these fatsos don't watch enough TV as it is.

But man, do I miss the gym. They're supposed to open on the 19th with restrictions such as reservations and time limits. That means I'm going to have to join another gym and after working out in one then drive across town to finish up at another gym. I think I might have better luck joining a privately owned gym instead of the big chains like 24 (which is the one I go to as it's the closest), UFC, or Power House. Chris Faildo owns in a gym in town and though it's about twenty miles from where I live he probably will be more slack on the rules.

Ron told me if I don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all :'(

My hairline just like your muscles lost that battle long ago.
Dressing rooms are not allowed open where I live >:(

Now just finish those walls and you're all set.
