To enforce a Totalitarian state, you need to have the enforcement arm on board. In the “Epicenter,” they’re just not that into it:

Number of NYPD cops out sick drops for first time in 27 days

https://nypost.com/2020/04/10/number-of-nypd-cops-out-sick-drops-for-first-time-in-27-days/

Nearly 20 percent of the force, or 7,096 officers, were still out sick to end the week, but that number was slightly down from Thursday, when 7,155 cops had called out.

I guess people forgot, or never really knew, what happened during the LA riots. Something that I witnessed in real-time with my binoculars on top of the helicopter pad on the roof of Rockwell International in El Segundo, CA. The people did in fact take arms against the authorities and the police retreated never to return until nearly two weeks later along with the National Guard. This was true anarchy and those who did not have guns and couldn't protect themselves paid the consequences. It was very satisfying seeing Koreans, no stranger to war, setting up barricades, positioning themselves, and firing at any and all threats. Their businesses were saved and not burned down and looted as so many others were.

The question here is not so much who will win but will people fight back if pushed enough. We have done it here (Waco, Ruby Ridge) and it has been done all throughout the world all through history when the people have turned against and overthrown their government through force of arms.

Sure a lot of Americans are cowards and complacent but not all. I wouldn't underestimate the will of the American people. Anybody involved in the gun culture knows how many militias are out there ready and willing to fight. This country was in a large part founded on the principles of freedom and liberty and it's still embedded in a lot of our hearts. We've overthrown the ruling government tyranny before.

People here, and around the world, always underestimate the Amerian people's resolve.
We're not called the sleeping giant for nothing. We are slow to be roused into action but once we do its game one.

Pelius why don't you something for once instead of bashing keys. Please don't punch a bum though.

Coming from a worthless gimmick who has never started a single thread that anybody cared about and stimulated a serious discussion such as this one.

All you do is shoot spitballs while hiding like a coward to compensate for being bullied in real life.

It's people like you that really bring this board down and disgust so many people. You, and the rest of the gimmicks like you, should be banned. You've been banned before but keep coming back with another gimmick.

When was the last time people overthrow their gorvernment, anywhere in the world?

It happened in several Latin-American countries in the 90's. Fun fact: in most cases the population was unarmed.

When people feel their rights are being taken away, they riot and can overthrow Governments. This hasn't been the case in the Coronavirus shutdowns. I guess most people feel it's necessary, and not that the Government is trying to impose a Communist regime.

Of course, for some Getbiggers it seems to be a matter of principles. A "you don't get to deny my right to go out" thing. And while I can understand that, I can easily see they're not going to do a thing about it, regardless of how many guns they have at home.

Oh, I'm not too worried. As much as America has been pussified and feminized over the last few decades there are still enough of us with balls and guns who will only take so much. It will start with mass protest and if the government tries a China and use force to express and defend our rights under the Constitution then you will see another real civil war. And I don't think for a minute that all of LE will support tyranny.
Take so much of what? The only was the US government will take you out is letting all of you paranoid gun owners to panic and kill each other in big dick swinging contest. You have right to own guns but to use it as an excuse to hold the gov accountable is ridiculous.
Imagine shooting a drone at 30000 feet.

I wasn't putting much stock in Americans fighting back based on my local communities Facebook page. Hysterical, tattle tailing, etc. It was pretty embarrassing and I won't look at my community the same again after this. However, we are making national news (MI) with the beginnings of some form of "protest"/illogicalness of Whitmer's latest edicts and there seem to be a lot more like minds then what I anticipated so I haven't completely thrown in the towel but also not getting my hopes up too much.

Full scale civil war you would have to hope that some military would take our side and not the governments.

You just go about your life like the obsequious little coward that you are, passively allowing your rights to be step on as you submissively follow any and all orders. There are still enough men left with the fighting spirit that will stand up for our right. You are the majority that che talked about. The spineless cowards.
