I'm very familiar with the glycemic index and the glycemic load, and they are mentioned in detail in one of the two videos above. You should watch them. You might learn something.
The glycemic index and glycemic load measure how those long and short chain carbohydrates affect your blood glucose levels when you eat them. They don't measure how years of daily high blood glucose gradually destroy your health. Both long and short chain carbohydrates get turned to glucose in your body.
And you are condescending. I don't have to watch those vids, I already experimented on my own body and know all I need to know. I tried keto twice for 6 months at a time, just to make sure I was not doing it incorrectly. I cannot train intensely on a keto diet. If you can manage to do it, good for you.
I want the glucose in my body... the preferred source of brain, muscle and liver energy, not ketones. I look 10 years younger than my current age of 54. Glucose is working beautifully for me, thank you.
