I saw a mentally deranged person who somehow managed to get into a position where he could do harm to almost defenseless people and it taking advantage of this. I cannot begin to imagine what goes through the mind of someone like this when they commit acts most people find appalling to even think about. And it is not just because I am old that I feel this way because this ass wipe would likely do the same thing to anyone who cannot fight back.

I know that for many folks here, the color of the perpetrator's skin is a big factor. For me, it is not because elder abuse is unfortunately way too commonplace. Acts like this are committed by people of all races. His being black doesn't make him any more or less guilty of horrendous acts anymore than his being white. or he being a she would. It is not at all uncommon for elder abuse to be perpetuated by family members which really complicates the problem.
