Aside from 2.people on getbig i dont even know anyone who knows anyone who had it or even knows of anyone who has had it.

I work in an essential service and have not missed one day of work through this entire thing.

My “clients” are some of the most “vulnerable” people as far as communicable disease, etc.

I know NO ONE who has had it or has known they’ve had it.

NOT. ONE.

The us has also conducted millions of tests versus the thousands elsewhere in the world. For there numbers and population size i wouldn't say its absurd rather more accurate and efficient then elsewhere in the world

Exactly.  It's hilarious seeing the Getbiggers from poor countries bash the US when the actual reason is what you just said above, LOL.

The situation is still serious in several countries, especially US, Brazil and Mexico.

Have a look at the stats for countries. Go back to 'yesterday' to see what is happening in each country.

Here in Australia there have been about 105 people die from the virus. Yet most state borders are closed.

There are still lots of restrictions in place here and compared to the US we don't have a huge problem.

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries

Australia is also broke as a joke, and not testing people unless they show severe symptoms, lol.  Like here in Canada [also broke as a joke].

Apparently if you don't test people for COVID-19, the number of people reported to have COVID-19 is lower.  WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED?!

If these cases keep increasing I'm going to buy an extra box of Kleenex.
Should you unluckily catch the virus, Kleenex might do as a cleanup with these symptoms of COVID-19 although toilet paper would be cheaper.
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea

PLANTATION, Fla. – In a period of ten days, Jackson Health System in Miami has doubled the number of patients they have seen coming through their doors.

Carlos A. Migoya, president and CEO of Jackson Health System, says there are some challenges.

A lot of these people are younger and about 40 percent of them are coming in to Jackson for other reasons,” Migoya said. “They’ve ended up in a car accident or other things, and as we test every patient that comes in, we have found them to be (COVID-19) positive. So they are not necessarily as sick as some of the other ones and many of them are asymptomatic.”

And that doesn’t even take into account the “generous” way COVID deaths are counted:

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/global-health/science-and-disease/have-many-coronavirus-patients-died-italy/

BySarah Newey,
 GLOBAL HEALTH SECURITY CORRESPONDENT
23 March 2020

According to Prof Walter Ricciardi, scientific adviser to Italy’s minister of health, the country’s mortality rate is far higher due to demographics - the nation has the second oldest population worldwide - and the manner in which hospitals record deaths.

“The way in which we code deaths in our country is very generous in the sense that all the people who die in hospitals with the coronavirus are deemed to be dying of the coronavirus

“On re-evaluation by the National Institute of Health, only 12 per cent of death certificates have shown a direct causality from coronavirus, while 88 per cent of patients who have died have at least one pre-morbidity - many had two or three,” he says.

Keep trying to convince yourself that you are somehow immune and that should you get the virus you have little or no possibility of dying from it. Hopefully, these won't become your famous last words should you contract COVID-19.

“What, the riots ... uh, I mean, PROTESTS, are simmered down?”

“CORONA’s back and more deadly than ever! Run! Hide! Save yourselves!”

(“Whatever we do, we gotta keep Sleepy Joe out of sight, as best we can. Gotta keep with fake news propaganda to attempt to smear Trump.)

“CORONA, people! More cases than ever! Oh, the humanity! In lasting memory of the great George Floyd, HIDE!”

Yes....because everyone in the world is consumed with who becomes the next U.S. President come November and international MSM must keep us all distracted so the evil Democrats can slip sleepy Joe into office.

Stop with the font size shit bro.

And stop going on like Armyofdumb

The more infections right now the better as you don't want another peak in a few months. You'll get closer to developing herd immunity and more infections mean more chances of gene deletions when the virus replicates. This will make the virus milder and eventually it will disappear or become a strain of the 'common cold'.

Coronavirus cases worldwide top 10 million with nearly half a million deaths — and 25% are in the US

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide surpassed 10 million Sunday, with the U.S. leading the way, according to data collected by Johns Hopkins University.

Roughly a quarter of the cases — 2,510,323 — are in the U.S., followed by Brazil at 1.3 million, Russia at just over 633,500 and India with around 528,800 as of Sunday morning ET. The disease's global death count is closing in on half a million, at 499,124, according to JHU's latest figures, again led by the U.S., which has reported 125,539 deaths.

The U.S. has seen several consecutive days of record increases in coronavirus cases following a number of states rapidly lifting lockdown restrictions to reopen their economies.

What are you talking about? Australia is doing huge number of tests, Aus healthcare is very well funded.

In my area of about 200 000 people they have done 20,000 tests for an apocalyptic 45 positives.

I thought army was dumb but SF takes the cake....

At least when army was hysterical there was a small chance the virus could be threatening, now SF is hysterical when the whole virus thing has played out.

He has PTSD from his asymptomatic "infection" ?..... More like false positive, like half the other USA "infections".

Coronavirus Live Updates: Global Tally of Known Cases Passes 10 Million

Vice President Mike Pence asserts that increased testing explains a surge in cases, but experts and evidence say otherwise. Taiwan holds a Pride Parade in support of those who can’t.

RIGHT NOWGov. Greg Abbott said the virus had taken a “swift and dangerous turn” in Texas, noting that the percentage of coronavirus tests coming back positive had risen to 13 percent from 4 percent in a month.
