another "good news" story about Covid...I'm sure this won't the the last

Quote
Two more people who attended the White House party on the night of the election have tested positive for Covid-19.
Two sources familiar with the diagnosis confirmed to NBC News that Brian Jack, the White House political director, has tested positive for the virus. Trump ally Healy Baumgardner also told NBC News that she tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday. She said she attended the White House party on Election Night.

Baumgardner is a former Trump campaign aide and now works in private equity.

A number of other guests at last week's event also tested positive for Covid-19, including chief of staff Mark Meadows, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, campaign legal adviser Dave Bossie and multiple White House aides.

Another day..another Trumptard gets the COVID

It's only a matter of time until THE TRAITOR gets it again

Hopefully it happens when he is out of office and likely isn't getting tested daily so they don't catch it early like they did last time.

or die like the roughly 1,000 people in this country every day

El Paso has refrigerator trucks full of bodies and many states have ICU's at or near capacity

Good news, yet another Trumptard just announced that he has it

RNC Chief of Staff Richard Walters has also tested positive for COVID-19

You are right, it's deadly for .05% of the population, just like the flu.

it's 2.3% which is just a mere 460% higher than your bogus number (based on the current tally of cases and deaths) but I understand that you're a moron so you probably aren't able to work out the 3rd grade arithmetic

Of, course those are just the ones that die.  Many more get very sick and don't die and many more have long term complications

You know damn well they are counting anyone who dies with Covid a Covid death regardless of what other disease or condition they had before.

bullshit

but I understand that you need to depend on bullshit for the majority of your beliefs

If anything, we're probably undercounting the COVID deaths as not everyone who has died was tested for COVID

I'll give you a simple way to understand this (still not expecting you to actually understand it)

If we had roughly the same number of deaths as last year and were just classifying some of them as COVID then why is El Paso (one example) asking for more and more refrigerated vans to hold the dead bodies?   If your premise were true they wouldn't have any need for additional morgue capacity if they are just classifying the usual number of deaths as COVID

You can also look at the "excess death" calculation by the CDC summarized in the story below or directly from the CDC

The question is would they have died at this point in time had they not contracted Covid? Unless you can say definitively that they would have died anyway, they died because they got Covid.

If someone has had diabetes for decades which eventually causes damage to all the organs in a person's body and they died when their kidneys failed, would you say they died of kidney failure or did they die of diabetes because they had that first?

Likewise, if someone with COPD a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs contracts Covid and dies because they were unable to breathe well enough to  maintain an oxygen saturation level high enough to sustain life, what would you say they died from?

COPD symptoms include breathing difficulty, cough, mucus (sputum) production and wheezing. Covid symptoms include cough, congestion or runny nose, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing,

Agreed.  For purely political reasons they want to parse covid deaths.  Covid is like 9/11 happening every 3-4 days.  Maybe we should do a recount on 9/11 deaths.  Out of the roughly 3000 deceased people, how many had diabetes?  Cancer?  Aids?  Hypertension?  Obesity?  Bet that number comes down to less than a thousand.
