Dude - how do you know you wouldn't have had a full head of hair without all of that (admittedly impressive) commitment?

That is the perfect video in response to all the COVID mask-wearing idiots! LMAO!!! Wow! I'm going to check out the comments and see if others came to that conclusion, haha.
Unfortunately for me, I have come to realize that I am just...getting older. I shouldn't say "old" just yet - I'll be 39 next month - but older for sure, and that's just the way it is. I think with a few things, I can slow the rate of aging. Since tres_taco_combo posted his hair protocol, this would be my general anti-aging [slow aging] protocol:
[1]
Eat a healthy LOW CALORIE diet, focusing on low to no carbohydrates, moderate to high protein intake, and low to moderate fat intake. This diet would be based on the nutritional demands for a 175-lb weight class strongman competitor's requirements. For me, 50 grams of carbohydrates or less daily would be sufficient - this one would be for
health and aesthetics [in that order], which both contribute to anti-aging. It may well help me to eat more carbohydrates, but as I see it - the only way for me to slow the aging process would be to consume fewer overall calories, and specifically, to consume fewer carbohydrates, even if they offer me a performance advantage. My protein would be based on
performance and aesthetics, not so much for health, but since I have hit all of my best lifts on under 200 grams of protein per day, I am confident that 200 grams would be sufficient. This can be raised a little...and I may even LOOK better eating more protein, and I have no problem admitting that my two primary reasons for eating more protein than I need are competition performance and aesthetics. It is my goal to do that within the framework of good health though, which is why I would want to be on the low end of the 1-2 grams of protein per pound of body weight recommended range for those who lift weights.

Hair dye. I think the time has come for this. As you can see in the first photo below, what do you notice? I look...ugh. It angers me every time I see how may white hairs I have, especially on my left side. Every time I look in the mirror, it throws me into a rage! I hate it. I heard that dyeing our hair damages it, so I want to see if there are any hair dyes on the market which minimize damage to the hair, or the follicle/roots. Since I only badly need hair dye on the left side, I could just use it on that side, which is the problem side, and use a smaller amount of dye on the right side. The top of my head is fine - in that I don't mind the number of white hairs on the top of my head. Would dyeing my hair ultimately make my hair look worse? This has made me hesitant of dyeing my hair so far. Speaking of hair - I don't shampoo my hair often, and never did. I think shampooing plays a role in hair quality. And may even result in men losing their hair a little younger than they otherwise would. When I had VERY LONG [Justin Trudeau] hair, I would pull out 5-10 hairs while shampooing. That was from going over a year without getting a haircut, and it's not like many hairs fell out, but...if you are losing your hair, I think anything to slow down the loss of your hair would be a good thing, and shampooing did result in me losing more hairs than if I don't shampoo. IMO, the quality of your hair is somewhat impacted too. Hence, I only shampoo my hair about once a week. And my hair is fine. I always assumed genetics was why I have my hair at my age...but it's possible that lack of shampooing played a role in this too.

General dental hygiene through the dental care practices in bold below, and Crest white strips from time to time. I have the Crest Whitening kit which comes with an optic light that is supposed to help whiten the teeth. Crest white strips work! They absolutely work. My only concern is that they cause damage to the enamel. Every time I have used them, I have gotten an almost immediate result, but did so at the cost of some pain to my enamel...which leads me to believe that long-term use of this product is not a good thing. I'm keen on reading the writing on the wall when it comes to anything...so I stopped using the strips once I noticed the pain. Unfortunately, that means they are working. But at what cost? Will the long-term enamel damage make my teeth look worse in the end? Going to the dentist three times a year is also important [and even the x-rays can potentially catch cancer early - and dentists are trained to detect cancer from dental x-rays].
I currently brush me teeth twice daily with an electronic Oral B toothbrush, which has a timer which notifies you after each minute of use. I brush my top teeth for one minute, and my bottom teeth for one minute. I then brush my tongue for a bit, and then I floss. I don't know if the order of brushing/flossing matters. I guess the argument would be to floss before brushing, so you brush out any blood or any plaque that got dislocated from flossing. I sometimes floss after - on certain days, if for example I hadn't flossed for a few days or more and my gums are bleeding when I floss them, I usually floss after brushing until that clears up. Just to not expose my freshly bleeding gums to any additional gum "trauma" until they recover and the gum bleeding down. My dentist says that under 10% gum bleeding denotes no active gum disease, and I achieved that after brushing and flossing twice a day, brushing for two minutes with an electronic Oral B toothbrush, further broken down to exactly one minute for my top teeth, and one minute for my bottom teeth. It took me a while to nail this one, because I previously had a Sonicare electronic toothbrush that vibrated after the 2-minute, so I wasn't brushing my teeth as evenly. With the Oral B toothbrush that vibrates after each minute, it has helped me brush my teeth very uniformly, and as a result, my gum bleeding has been consistent at under 10%. I have only had one cavity so far, in 2015, and I really think the only "trick" to maintaining good teeth is to disrupt the plaque at least ONCE every 24 hours. Literally all of my life, all I did was quickly brush with a normal toothbrush for 10 seconds, if that, and it was enough for me not to get any cavities until just days before turning 34. All the extra stuff I do is just to maintain really good teeth, as white clean teeth and pink gums are both signs of youth. My dental hygiene plan outlined above is highly recommended. I've been somewhat lazy with my teeth through COVID, as my dentist was closed for months...but when I realized this BS was going to last forever, I started to get serious about my dental health again - and good dental practices, as with good nutritional practices, will make us healthier AND make us look better as a result.
[4] I think it's time for me to
wear nice clothes, and maybe get a nice looking watch. You can easily get a beautiful watch for $50, that no one is going to know is only a $50 watch unless they are experts on watch quality. And for clothes, I don't mean wearing the nicest clothes, in terms of brand names - nothing like that - but to just buy 10 good solid pairs of pants, and 10-20 good solid shirts, and 1-2 good solid pairs of shoes, in addition to some Wal-Mart low-end clothes I already have, but to gradually shift to wearing more nice stuff. I don't want to wear tight skinny jeans that make it impossible to pick up a coin if I drop it on the ground, but Chael Sonnen was hawking some pair of pants that look like sleek dress pants, but are actually athletic pants that allow a full range of motion. I would have to go check his channel to see if he's still hawking that, and go buy a pair of those and see how they are.

CARDIO! Initially, I was not going to start doing cardio until age 40, but [1] that is in under 13 months, and [2] I think I owe it to myself to start cardio early...as I was lazy through the COVID lock-downs, partially not my fault, as gyms were closed for months and months, but partially my fault, as I was still lazy for a bit after the gyms reopened. So it's time for me to get back on that train, stay on that train for the rest of my life, and add cardio to that train! Health Canada recommends 25 minutes of elevated heart rate cardio per day, and I strongly believe they are right about that. So I will do that every time, train with weights 3-5 times a week [hopefully hitting 4-5 on most weeks], and increase that cardio on certain days, depending on how I feel, how I am responding, and other factors.

Limit drugs, alcohol, and smoking - I drank about 20 servings of alcohol this year, up from seven servings in 2019. And I think I may well never drink alcohol again - ever. I smoked 14 cigarettes this month...and I wanted to stop there, but...I think I'll have ONE more tomorrow or the next day [maybe two], and then quit completely in December. The thing is, is - I actually ENJOY smoking. Quite a bit actually. And I don't even consider 3-4 cigarettes a WEEK to be an issue [basically, I smoke two cigarettes every fourth day]. I am NOT addicted to nicotine, and quitting a cigarette habit of this size won't be an issue. That's not what concerns me. What concerns me is becoming an actual addicted smoker. I'm sort of in a limbo state - I am absolutely NOT addicted to cigarettes, but I just "allow" myself to have a couple, maybe twice on most weeks. So two days of each week, I'll smoke two. I should MAYBE stop doing this, but...I just don't know if smoking as little as I do is really a problem. I literally average under half a cigarette a day. But...I don't know. I might just stop, but the good news is - it will be easy for me to stop because I am not addicted to nicotine. I may never drink alcohol again, as said, and I am lucky that I don't have the constitution to really do any of these things. I HATE to say this, but I can't use marijuana, because it causes me crippling, unbearable paranoia...it sucks. Something so safe and so effective for so many people, and I literally can't tolerate it. Oh well. NOT that not being able to do drugs is a bad thing - I consider myself fortunate. I just sort of wish I could benefit from marijuana the way others do. CBD is ok...I can handle that. I took 20mg, and even THAT was a bit much for me. LMAO!!! I think because my body was "reminded" of marijuana, and I had marijuana paranoia PTSD from it or something.
[7] Get adequate rest, limit stress, spend time with my friends, family/children, and good people - and get back together with my loving ex-girlfriend! As Derek Anthony said about TA's tall dark-haired girlfriend: "She's fucking hot! She's fucking sexy!"
[8] Anyone here, feel free to fill in the blanks for me. This one, or any more. I am happy to add anything to my life that will increase my health, my wellness, and hopefully also result in a reduction of the aging process for me.
[9] Limit Taco Time three_taco_combos.
I'm undecided on
frequency of jerking off. I understand that Getbiggers only date 11's...but I think there is quite a bit of support that shows that not jerking off often and saving up your load actually makes you stronger. And it may be by something like 7%. That being said, I assume that if this does happens [and understandably - as you go days and days without dropping a load, your body probably activates everything to be at its best so that you can get a woman, including physical strength which will attract them], that it probably maxes out at a certain percentage gained in strength. So if that is the case, I could always just go 7-10 before competition without shooting a load. If that will make me ~5% stronger in contest, awesome! I'll take that.
