So if you can fill it, it's not a problem, but it is very rare to be very wide and thick at the same time.
Real broad shouldered guys tend to have Ectomorph tendencies along with mesomorphy.

Ronnie actually didn’t have a super side frame either, look at him now. It’s clear it was all muscle.

Mentzer looked great in gym and beach pics but not so impressive when up against other bodybuilders on stage. He even had a perfect score on the Olympia stage and won his division only to lose to Zane head to head.

When Cutler was at the top of the game he was the widest person I’ve ever seen. I’m assuming he has a wide shoulder girdle or was that strictly drug induced (Gunther was very wide as well, massive in terms of overall size, but Cutler at his height was something else. And for those wondering Ronnie had the biggest arms of all the pros from that era. Mind boggling size.).

Not really. If you’ve good eyes you’ll see Kevin is still rather narrow. Dillett does look different alright. Maybe he had better access to GH. Maybe Pfizer like Dorian.
