I have endoscopy appt tomorrow and they'll knock me out for it. Question is, I live literally 5 min driving distance from there and they say I shouldnt drive. Is it really that bad? So just get uber? I'm sure there'll be tons of gay jokes so flame on!
Getting buttfucked at a road side rest doesn't count as a medical procedure.
I’ve had colonoscopies and endoscopies and they always say don’t drive and I pretend someone is picking me up and I drive home. It’s no big deal at all. Very stupid thing.
Not sure they'll let you take Uber or a cab afterwards. They usually require you have a friend or family to drive you home. In fact, I doubt they'd do the procedure unless that person is with you at check in.
I had wisdom teeth removed years ago and they made me have a driver. The person I brought with me couldn't drive a stick shift and that was my car so after the procedure I left with the person but then drove home. I didn't remember the drive home and she said I was all paranoid and driving down back roads to avoid cops. Took twice as long to get home.
Fucks sake dont you have an imagination, just tell them someones picking you up.. they dont give a fuck
A DUI is a DUI . Doesn’t matter who got you wasted
Arrange a ride. You can really get your provider/Doctor in trouble if you drive yourself.
Yep.You could be driving those few miles home perfectly when someone rear-ends you. The cop would, as a matter of course, ask you where you were and where you were going.
You can't fake a chaperone, they are very strict about this. When I've had any procedure requiring sedation, I had to have someone with me before let me sign in. If that person wants to leave and comeback when the procedure is done, they call them. I've also driven friends to and from their procedures. I've had many colonoscopies since my late 30's. The routine is always the same. Fortunately, my last colonoscopy was actually the very last one because they don't recommend them when you are older than 75.
This. In addition, my own experience is that I'm quite high from the anesthesia and probably not fit to drive.
And I would say I’m driving to the store and back, none their fucking business.
I have been sedated 3 times for lithotripsy and have always driven home, I just told them my wife was waiting for meMan the fuck up
