He was 49.  He passed away in his sleep from what i understand so it was prob a heart attack.  He seemed to be fine on his last video but its why you have to live each day to the fullest

It’s sad and I feel sorry for his wife and especially his little kid

But the guy had serious Health issues for awhile and should have left the bbing lifestyle behind

I think jared leto is older but looks much younger likely live to 90's

Watching meadows vid he looks like every 50 year old out there except hes definitly sauced up

I know a man who passed at 62 worked full time ate meat never drank or smoked ... Except took up drinking at age 62 n had a blood clot n died , no steroids

So even 60 years is max for meat eaters

RIP. He was a likeable guy, and seemed to really enjoy what he was doing.

That being said, the last few years, even before the heart attack, he didn't look healthy. Always in great condition bodybuilding wise, but always on the edge health wise. Like they say, the two don't always mix.

I subscribed to his channel. He had heart problems a year ago. I watched his physique and strength over the past year and he didn’t back off the gas. Condolences to his family.

That's very serious and yet he kept on pushing it.

I'm sad he died.

He made his living off his youtube channel so in that way he was trapped and had to keep up his unhealthy lifestyle.

Larry Wheels has trapped himself the same way.

He had great YouTube content.  In the top 3 that I would check out.  Clean, common sense info. Sorry to hear he passed but I always viewed him in the same category as Palumbo.  The greatest desire and intensity necessary to excel but held back by shit genetics.

He had a really great career in the financial industry before bodybuilding. He was also a very successful and respected bodybuilding coach. He most definitely wasn't trapped.

One of the nice guys in the industry RIP, but x4 for what beefyheavyweight said.

Interesting take.

I always thought John has an odd, or maybe different is a better word, build but comparing his genetics to that of Dave P might be spot on.
