I have black Redwing boots for riding my motorcycle. They are really well made, I like them a lot.
Please don’t get a scooter, the only two girls I know who ride a scooter are my sister-in-law (Vespa) and Chaos (Harley scooter). LOL
Thank you for sharing the advice, I will try this when I get back home. I’m not squatting today !
I fell a few weeks back trying to carefully back my 1200 Sportster down the driveway. A few years back I got ride of my touring rig as it was over 900 lbs and I no longer felt comfortable riding it due to my physical limitations and, well...my stubbornness.
I like Harleys a lot. I also like a great many other brands and types of bikes. I had a DR650 that I once rode to my HD dealer for a Saturday BBQ. I parked next to all the Harleys and was taking my helmet off when a guy said I couldn't park my "Jap Crap" next to his HD. I said, "Oh...Okay" and then leaned over my bike, and with my left hand grabbed the frame and with my right the rear shock and lifted it maybe waist high and walked several feet with it, set it down. I asked if that was okay and if he wanted it further away I would gladly lift his bike and move it instead. Of course I could not have done that with a much heavier bike, I think his was a Low Rider.
I then walked surrounded by silence to the showroom where a friend that was in sales waited to greet me at the door. He smiled and I asked him if the guy was still watching me and he said no. I told him, "Good! Cuz I think I screwed my back up!"

This childish, albeit lots of fun, display of strength was made possible by being able to do high rep, relatively light weight squats for years. I have no doubt about that.
That and retard strength.
I like Vespas but I do not fit them well and the small wheels are too twitchy steering-wise for me.
