I`m the exact same way once I start training.....I let nothig unterfere with my workouts.

Been training since I was a kid also.

Train Hard !!

For me is more mental than physical.  Its time to just let off steam, blast metallica and slayer, and try to be the best version of yourself you can be.

You don't necessarily have to be mean mugging people or staring at the ground at the gym to be training hard. It's possible to switch things off and on as you go. Some of the most brutal sessions I had involved a lot of jokes and laughter between sets and then blood pouring out the nose, fainting, temporary blindness and vomiting. What do you guys do when gym regulars come and say hello and perhaps ask you about progress and plans etc during your workout? Just ask them to shut the fuck up because you're so hardcore?

Filming sets can be a good tool as well. Some guys texting/fighting over text with bitches during the workout irritates me too, that shit can wait an hour.

But whatever works.

There are like 2-3 people when I train and they are also dialed in doing their own thing.  When I do the bros and hoochies are not there.

2000 was a long time ago all I am saying is are you a mule or a thoroughbred. Mules do Burpees and Sandbag drags they are work animals for plowing fields. Thoroughbreds do sets then eat and relax while the mules are still plowing the fields. If I wanted to break a sweat I would bang my girlfriend and I turn the AC down prior to that. If you want to make gains you need to eat and rest not work yourself into the ground. I am a white collar thoroughbred athlete not a Blue collar work mule.

Also on a personal note spent the day debating if I could walk as left ham tie in is not good. That is where the Bakers Cyst and the most instability is in my left knee. It will kind of slip if I overextend while walking it can get a little fluidy. But today is Hamstring day and I am getting ready to start. Will do stiff leg deadlifts then some hamstring curls. Yes I would like to kill it but truth be told I am just going to try to do what I can. I don't go heavy on the hamstrings at all. I am training them though. The last 6 months I was really just doing quads which made gains hopefully the next 6 hams will catch up. So yes I want massive legs and I am training them twice a week but if I train them too hard then I can't train them at all. If you are young and healthy train hard while you can as eventually you will have to train smart. People say you cant grow your legs at your age you cant grow your legs doing sissy workouts but I am doing what I can do and it is slowly increasing so yes I am making gains. Hell the so called foremost expert Dr said surgery shave bones down to get off the cane and he was wrong. I am applying my knowledge not my ego and it is working. The weights will get heavier eventually

Todays goal but may change give or take a set based on how left knee holds up wearing brace for workout

3-5 sets stiff leg dumbell 20-30 rep range 50lb dumbells

Hamstring Curls 3-5 sets 20-30 rep range 90lbs

I was literally asked if I play football the other day at Walmart not like did I play in college but like do I currently play in the NFL. I live in a resort vacation area they thought I was an NFL player on Vacation why because I am fucking jacked even in clothes. I have massive vascular forearms just hanging out and yes my shoulders are massive I am wide as fuck

After I exchange pleaantries when I get to the gym,I`m strictly business.

I`ve got tons of friends there but they respect the fact that I`m training.....we shoot the shit over coffee post workout.

I had this silly fuck trying to talk to me when I was Leg Pressing 6 plates a side.....told him I`d talk later....he said well then just listen.

I told him to get  lost after that set........fuck him if he was offended.
