that's good to hear, mang, especially with the world in such a mess right now. I've seen so many folks going to shit by virtue of lockdowns etc, gaining weight, drinking and falling into drugs.
I'm thankful of not only being mindful to work out, but also knowing how to train and diet lest I find myself circling the drain.

It's a shit world for many right now.

Not sure why everyone thinks my girl is some kind of crazy liberal. She is a moderate independent being courted by both local parties. She has one meme pic she posted from a year ago when the cops shot a local black man to death in his driveway saying she believes black lives matter science is real and womens rights are human rights. She has never mentioned BLM to me in the entire time I have dated her. The local Republicans actually want her to run for office as a Republican. She is a lawyer and said Rittenhouse was clearly a case of self defense. She thinks for herself though on individual issues and doesn't abide by either party line. Perhaps the idiots on this board claiming she is the head of the local BLM chapter don't actually know her.

Welcome back bhanks.  Been kind of quiet without you around.

Thanks I saw Soul Crusher tried to steal my thread and start a new daily workout check in but couldn't keep it going without me. Today we squat and I am bringing the camera. A few brief updates though according to my Dr I have been off my TRT for 4 months now. They keep emailing me saying I was due for a refill at the end of July. Bodyweight is maintaining 225lbs but condition isn't exactly there. I turned 44 years old and the body just might not be responding as well. I have not had bloodwork done in about a year. Not sure my current levels. Have taken a lot of time off upper body training and just been doing a few sessions a week. I did manage to take my toddler snowboarding for 4 days this last week though and chased him all over the mountain so legs did what they were trained to do.

Yesterday was delt and arm day. No warm ups listed.
Standing dumbbell press 2 x 10
Dumbbell delt laterals 2 x 12
Seated rear delt dumbbell laterals 2 x 11
face pulls 2 x 12
barbell shrugs 2 x 10

skull crushers with easy bar 3 x 12 (These always killed my elbow but I tweaked the way I do them and no problem so far. I lightened the weight and increased the reps. Instead of coming down to my face area I'm letting the bar drift behind my head. It made a ton of difference in the torque on the elbow.
Push down pulley triceps 2 x 10
dips 2 x 10 ( I went deep with no weight and immediately after push downs.)

Alternate dumbbell curls 2 x 8
Drag barbell curls 2 x 12
Concentration curls seated 2 x 12

wrist curls 2 x 25
wrist extensions 2 x 15

Weighted crunches 1 x 60 (waiting for a curved back pad to get a larger range of motion. Should come soon. I will see if it works as I anticipate.)
Pulley crunches 1 x 60


Today I did 8 x quarter mile intervals (440 yards or one lap).  Fastest was 7.8MPH or 7:42 per mile pace.  Three lifting days this week  and three cardio sessions.

I always had the same problem with skulls. Now I do them on a slight decline maybe 15-20 degrees and always let the bar drift down overhead and keep the upper arm at an angle and don’t lock out. High reps only and no elbow pain in quite a while.
