No Lifting today back on the mountain snowboarded from 9:30-3 lower back was still feeling that last squat workout. Have a bench and dumbbells at the condo but arrived at 3am and 32nd season snowboarding so thinking Chili and Netflix instead

It’s just everyone acts like I am a walking heart attack and not a real athlete. Meanwhile I did hours of snowboarding today that’s basically cardio. So you guys can keep riding your asaualting bikes and doing burpees and sled drags and forced ruck Marches for your heart.  I prefer to snowboard. Outdoor sports is the best way to cross train with weights.

This is great to read. Some people aren't as lucky as you. A lot has to do with your genetics and your lifestyle. Have you done any form of exercise over the last three months? I'm guess you have.

Hell yeah outdoor sports are where it's at. How do your knees hold up to snowboarding? I haven't gone in years. I figure motocross beats my knees up enough. I don't know how skiing/snowboarding will treat them. What mountain did you go to?

Last few months all reps are 15-40. Fees great insane pumps.

Until I started working out with the Elite 3 bands I'd not heard of people doing 40 rep sets...well, which equipment it is just one set for each exercise. When I started working out with weights around 1960, the recommended number of sets and reps was 3X10 on every exercise. Over the last 60 years, I tried just about every routine ever published or suggested. What I've concluded is they all work....until you get bored with them. A couple of things that definitely changed as I've grown older is that I have to limit my total workout time for each session or I'm just going through the motions and it need more days of recovery thus each body part gets a direct workout twice a week.

The other day a neighbor came over to talk with my son-in-law. She is 89 years old, uses a cane and walks a minimum it 3 miles a day. Her late husband was also an avid walker. Unfortunately, awhile back while on a walk he tripped on a raised section of sidewalk, fell, broke his neck and died on the spot. I think it is pretty amazing his widow still continues her walks despite her age and how her husband died. I hope I'm still exercising 12 years from now.

It is a shame Pellius isn't around to share his secret hair coloring formula with you and others who've gone grey or white in my case. Years ago when I was even more vain than I am now, I colored my mustache using Just For Men. After a few Poncho Villa colored mustaches (as my wife referred to the color), I learned to go as light as possible and to strictly follow the directions. Former 'dirty blonds' with dark brown mustaches look weird.

It’s a lot less brutal than motorcross. I have a condo at Snowshoe in WV

Indoor/outdoor- it makes no difference. All your body senses is what the workload is. I bicycle race as a hobby and I get equal intensity outside or inside. Outside is just a lot more fun, but some people dig indoors. Whatever floats your boat.
