Today I was in Washington DC and jogged 6 miles and then did my chest and tricep workout.

I bench pressed 165 lbs today with my wrist wraps and weighed 133.1 lbs after my workout.

I went to all the tourist sites and visited the Cherry Blossom Festival.

A week ago my calves had veins everywhere and you could see individual fibers. Now it looks like I have cankles and no definition in calves at all it happened very quickly like I noticed it happening during the workout

Made it to the gym did

Squats
 2 sets of 10 warmup
5 sets of 8 working

Had sushi right before workout so maybe too much sodoum but lower legs blew up with fluid out of nowhere. Have a ripple effect when removing knee sleeve and deep lines from socks definitely some edema. Weight is creeping back up but holding fluid now


Yeah...your pitting edema is probably the result of the sushi....couldn't possibly be from the degenerative arthritis you have in your knees that you 'healed yourself from'.   ::) ::)

I am thoroughly disappointed that you didn't take that opportunity to mention your bakers cyst for like the 5,000th time.

I heard a rumor that he had some sort of knee surgery? Maybe some screws or something put in those gimpy weak ass legs.

That’s edema from CHF and a toxic liver. Could also indicate kidney and/or lymphatic issues.

Squatting 225 lbs is the least of his problems.

Legs felt awesome from squats yesterday then Knee slipped getting off the coach. Icing but in pain. Issue is it's the back of the left leg where the hamstring ties into the knee that tissue is getting the inflammation from the slipping. Makes it hard to train the left hamstring and that is the hamstring I use for side shots. But could feel yesterdays squats deep in the glutes today quads also felt good so think it was a productive workout. But the back of left knee not so much

Just a friendly observation aimed at no one in particular but when hitting side shots the judges ask to see all side poses from both sides.....not just one side... therefore it is best to attempt to develop both hamstrings as evenly as humanly possible............just for anyone who may not be aware of this of course.....not aimed at any one particular individual.

I looked fantastic today after I trained.....much much better than when I started my comeback....I should look great by August 6th.

Failed to take a selfie or weigh myself though, my bad, just went by the ever truthful mirror instead.

Maybe you should wait until next week to try that 405 lb squat so your knee has time to heal

Not doing great this am. Knee is pretty bad icing it again. Really struggling to get around the house. Basically, at this point planning to only squat every other leg workout as extensions seem to bother knee less. Problem is my dog bites so I can't just put him in the yard I have to actually walk him. I walked him with my 4 wheeler the other day. May consider going back to the Ortho but I think I need to strengthen the rear posterior chain get that hamstring strong enough to hold the slip just know the minor slip is going to be a major tear someday otherwise. Anyway got an early basement workout before sunrise

Shoulders
3 sets of 25 dumbell press
used fat gripz supposedly helps tendonitis

2 sets of 25 side laterall raises
Didnt use fat grips elbow started hurting so stopped after 2 sets

How are those 8-12 reps working out for you? Are you a Beast yet?

I have had multiple shoulder surgeries. I am shoulder dominant in my bench already. I don't need to destroy them going heavy. I am saving something for chest day. But yes I will probably use heavier dumbells next time and bring it down to the 15 rep range. Just wanted to touch them today and see how elbow felt. I had planned to do them last night with shrugs but my girl came over so I cut it short. If I really want to go heavy low reps I would use the hammer strength machine at the gym to increase stability but dont have that at the house. But low reps put more strain on my damaged joints and my shoulder always seemed to get a pump and grow just by looking at them. I need to bring up the chest so save my tricep press strength for that day as well. Sometimes I will do the same day as chest.

Destruction this am and feel fng great.  10 sets of 10 reps of 100DB clean and press superset 3 x side laters 35's, 3x bent over laterals, 3x upright row, calf raises

1 hour of  30 sec walk on air runner - shoulder or BW exercise of choice such as kettlebell swing, jump rope, 8 count BB, db snatch, etc.
