I did a little swim this morning (very little, first swim in a long time).

Will do some squats after work.

Heaviest set 201x10

I got these little plates recently that let me up the barbell weight in 1- and 2-lb increments.  I like them, sometimes adding +5 lbs seems like a big jump.

Plate mates are awesome, my gym has a bunch they are great just to add a couple lbs to each dumbbell.

You guys are as bad as personal trainers beating the shit out of their clients then wondering why they never come back you don't need to do 50 exercises a workout. You can change up your volume and rep range vs taking a day off you dont always have to fry your CNS. Consistency is what does the job. You have no idea how heavy I went you take no consideration to how many days in a row I have trained or what might be sore. Making it to the gym and doing something is enough some days. You have to take it easy sometimes to grow. If I do an 1:30 workout I will not grow. I have to take days off just to eat. I lose weight if I train too many days in a row. Putting your focus into doing fewer exercises for more reps and sets allows you to really have the mind muscle connection. When I switch exercises every other set I do not getting the same kind of flex and feel in the muscle. And again I change my workouts all the time. You guys literally list wrist curls and ab crunches like that is part of a legitimate workout. Then claim you are doing more and I don't train hard bullshit. I know what I am doing. Meanwhile half you fuckers didn't even go to the gym today. I did leg extension yesterday and stiff leg deads today I don't have to do them all the same day. I do everythign once a week I am still getting tons of training but on a sore day I do something vs nothing but if you actually look at the reps and sets it is decent volume just not 3 different exercises that all do the same thing

TRANSLATION: I have no desire to push myself and I have set extremely low standards and limitations for myself as well....I am not dedicated to diet and I train like a bleeding kunt,when the reps  start to hurt....I quickly stop.....fuck that shit.....I am just a recreational lifter who uses recreational drugs then denies it vehemently even though it`s on a police report.

I have won four last place medals that sit alongside my Masters degree on my mantle along with my action figures.

I too believe in periodization and "instinctive training" but seven sets of an isolation excerise with legs like yours just shows you dont truly want it......not willing to dump the sweat.....if Arnold thought like you did in his prime he would have never been Arnold and would have never have had a prime.

You haven`t been blasting your body hard enough to deserve a light day cuz all your days are consistantly light days.

Your quads and back the two biggest bodyparts on most people can and should be able to recover from just a tad more than that amount of  pussified shit you called a workout.

Looking through this thread at your posted leg days is laughable....you aren`t hungry unless it`s for ice cream and cake I`m coming after you boy and Hell is coming with me.

Seriously Bryan.  Your back and legs kind of suck.  If you trained them both properly as in moderately heavy and hit both groups from a variety of angles you'd see bigger improvements in both.  Thus, paving the way for your elusive IFBB Professional Card.

Much more volume is needed and higher reps on quads but that shit is tough so his gains he dreams of are just that dreams... and he needs to train his guts out and leave it all in the gym....he`s a wannabe who relies solely on gear.......instead of eking out the hard reps as they get tougher I`d bet you a dollar to a donut he just ends the set.....I`ve seen a zillion guys like him in tons of gyms.....wants it but doesn`t want to suffer for it.....I know what his pat reply will be and it will be ignored.

If I trained with him he would be just one of many casualties I have left in my wake......he`d quit or throw up mid workout or both.

I may not have been huge but I never saw anyone train as hard as me in person except two other guys and I kept up with the two much younger fucks with no problem at all.....they ued heavier weight yes,but I used equally heavy weights for me so it equaled out and I trained my balls off I live for the gym when I`m the zone.

Leg day? I guess you haven't figured out I squat every week in addition to doing deadlifts and leg extensions on two additional  separate days. Really no idea why you assume my workouts are not hard.
