I am stiffleg deadlifting 225 for 8 reps with 5 sets meanwhile he is doing 225 for 8 reps on regular deadlifts before dropping the reps and going up on his remaining sets so yeah its absolutely comparable. Same thing with his squat workout I am getting just as many reps with 225 as him I just do it for more sets while he goes up in weight and brings down the reps
