I live on an overcrowded island and no primary care physicians are taking new patients. I also have no health insurance. The flem was green but is more yellow now. I have had a cough for 3 weeks it is in my chest. I took the weekend off lifting weights as I had my son. I was also stung by a stingray at the beach Saturday hurt like hell some kind of neurotoxin was very painful had to remove stinger pieces with tweezers from my ankle. Weight is down in the low 223-225ish range as not much appetite as the flem and snot is dripping into my stomach so really hoping to get better this next week. But regardless still a beast threw the kid into the stratosphere
It looks like you and your son had a good time this weekend. That's great!
Not having health insurance is a problem. Even if there were doctors taking patients where you are, they might not take on someone without health insurance. I'm sure you know that no health insurance means you pay full price for doctor, urgent care, emergency room, and hospital visits as well as full price for prescription drugs. Depending on the insurance plan, the copay could be as low as $10 for a $300 dollar office visit. If there is any way you can afford it, in the least get yourself a basic health insurance plan. For someone who as all the various health issues you've talked about not to have health insurance is nuts.
Because I'm old, I have Regence Med Advantage. Which is basically Medicare with extra coverage benefits. My co-pay for a 3-month supply of Testosterone Cypionate (12 vials) is $26. Some services like getting my teeth cleaned including the dental exam and x-rays twice a year cost me nothing. The co-pay for the cataract surgery I'm current having is $320 each eye. While the full price of this surgery on average is just under $4,000 per eye.
It is good news that the mucus is now yellow rather than green. Green thick phlegm means you are very sick. Do you have pain in your chest/lungs? Are you having difficulty breathing? These are some of the signs of pneumonia.
