Training for me is mentally cathartic.  Its what I love to do and enjoy most.   

Same here, so I get it. But your training is on a whole other level. Might I say alien level hahahah.

Im 47 - I started at 13.   Never a single break in training.  Its a matter of needling in on what works best for you.  I get fat easily.  So I do a lot more volume and calorie burning stuff than maybe someone who is naturally leaner or ecto type should do.  Its what works for me right now.   Would I do this at 16-18-20 if I were going for strict hypertrophy?   No.

I understand, I’m 44 been going since 14 with no breaks either. I’m prob the hardest training guy at the gyms I go to but your intensity and stuff you do is very impressive.

Same, asked for (and got) weight set and bench for Xmas 1978 (I was 12). Been an addict ever since. Piecing together and building and changing my home gyms over the decades,
also a passion...
Never took time away from it. At 56, its been 44 years now and my passion for training has not subsided a bit.
Looking FWD to when it does though (maybe).  :)

A stress-reliever for sure, you arent kidding there. Keep on breathing defiance!

Yeah i like to take a week or two off a few times a year.

I've learned it's more beneficial to take a few breaks.

Serious cyclists and triathletes are pretty crazy with their training volume.  Even at the amateur level, weeks of 20+ hours of training are not unusual.

Bro's at our gym brag how they are there 3 hrs a day, 7 days a week!!  ::)
I told one guy "ya, but you dont know how to train, and flap your gums for 2.5 hours of it".
