We only did that when training for a power meet....it is a common practice when training for a meet, but of course you wouldn`t know that since you never did a power meet.

It`s to ensure that you go below paralell you imbecile......a placing is on the line....why train heavy and hard for months only to miss a squat for lack of depth......something that YOU DO know as lot about ....LACK OF DEPTH that is.
