Sounds intense !

What a gay way to workout.....last place here he comes.

Do you think your potential opponents are fucking around like that......I doubt it because they want to win not fuck around training like you`re doing ..........tunnellvision,focus,intensity and putting everything else aside is how you win..................... ...LOSER.

You are not even in good enough shape to post a pic and you want to call out others on their training gtfo

You know why I got out of shape, stop using that excuse....I had fucking lung Cancer asshole.

You will be surprised when I do post pics and I bet I`m training harder than you right now.....any young beginner who doesn`t watch TV or post when training is training harder than you.

And lets not forget the minor detail that I`m old enough to be your father, but that doesnt fit in to your agenda.

I`m better than you and you cannot stand it sonny boy !!

Yes you should between sets. Just how long do you rest between them? To increase hypertrophy as quickly as possible, the best rest period is 30 to 90 seconds between sets. How much can you eat in 60 seconds?

My preference is 30 seconds. I barely have time to take a sip of water....much less eat something.

I would say the opposite is true. A 5-10 minute rest would be better. You are hindered in several ways by short rest periods. Try doing squats to failure with a minute between sets. Not possible, you would poop out by the first rep of the second set. Fuck, in reality working high rep legs at all out intensity you might need 20 minutes between sets. Tom Platz said his whole leg workout might sometimes be two 50 rep death sets - after the first set you wouldn't even be able to think the first 10 minutes after.

Short rest periods are "hard" but not necessarily good from a hypertrophy standpoint. "Hard" in itself doesn't make something good. Doing 100 pushups is hard.

Some sicentific minded bodybuilders think eating/drinking like 2,000 calories during workouts might be advantageous.

My gym plays some silly dance music

Hopefully, it is upbeat enough to really get a person moving on the treadmill.

How the fuck can you tell me how to train legs stickman?

BTW,my legs were on a 154- 165 pound competitve extremely small ectomorph frame at 5 foot 8 inches....I know I`m a manlet, but my legs were more proportionate to my upper body than yours will ever be.

You are a lot taller than I am and do not look over 185-190 pounds.

When I was training for a contest, guys would say to me...."Jesus wes you look great, what are you weighing about 175 or so"?

I replied lightweight class bro...154 pounds, they were amazed I was that light.

I was at 4 % BF according to Dave Mastorakis a well respected legendary bodybuilder who trained with the Mentzers....I created an illusion of size/looking bigger than I actually was because I was so cut....my muscle stood out in bold relief.....not bragging at all, just speaking facts.

You will never achieve this look eating donuts and watching TV when working out....I didn`t say training,I said merely working out like any typical gym rat....you have no eating or training regimen.... and please dont give me that instictive training BS.

Trust me,remeber this post when you have a dismal showing at your upcoming contest.

After you get beat,if you need help PM me.

BTW Brian, here` just some of the improvements I`m making on a daily basis:

Eating a good clean bodyuilding/healthy diet every day....used to eat crap daily and sat on my ass for 5 years or so doing noting at all physically.

Training hard every day..did abosulutely nothing prior to starting back....cardio was a walk to the freezer for more ice cream.

Gaining back muscle size very quickly while losing fat and increased my strength at least four times over since I started back.

TRAINING HARD WITH JUST MUSIC.....TUNNELLVISION. ...NOTHING CAN DISTRACT ME CUZ I WONT ALLOW IT.......ON A MISSION TO LOOK FANTASTIC AT 67.

May enter a future NPC Masters Nationals in the over-60 cuz I still look youthful not like most saggy fux who get on stage at an advanced age and get a trophy with minimal traning just cuz they`re old.

And last but not least I will travel to any contest you want to do sometime next year and compete againt you in the Over-40 division at closer to 70 that 65 years old....that`s how confident I am that this will be just another of my many comebacks I have made where I alway came back looking much improved.

One more thing,I will devestate you in said contest if you chooe to accept my challenge.....hell I`m not even in a real gym yet.....wait until I join the gym again......more gains will be made.

Fuck that,I like short rest periods.....it would take me a month to complete a workout if I rested 10 minutes between sets.

I can see it on squats or deads but my philosophy on those two exercises are to go when you are recovered regardless of time.

For pure bodybuilding purposes short rests are better.

As far as eating heavily during a training session there is always the possibilty and probability that you may throw up,plus blood goes to the stomach to aid in digestion taking oxygenated blood away from the muscles you are training.

Just my 2 cc`s.

I just competed why wouldn't I compete again next summer? Masters Nationals I think is in PA so yeah that is a possibility. Have you considered the landscape has changed since you last competed?

At 5foot8 you can weigh up to 182-190lbs in the classic division. So you are 30lbs under the classic physique division based on your weight. You sure you want to do the Open perhaps you are a classic competitor or maybe even a smaller board short guy at 154lbs??

DIVISION B

Over 5’ 7”, up to and including 5’ 8”   Up to and including 182 lbs
Over 5’ 8”, up to and including 5’ 9”   Up to and including 190 lbs
Over 5’ 9”, up to and including 5’ 10”   Up to and including 197 lbs

I dont plan on being 154,that was years ago.....dont sweat me,I`ll be ready regardless of what I weigh.

Just competed.....next summer is a whole year away....I trust you have recovered from your gruelling prep by that time for Christs sake and fuck Classic....I`m talking bodybuilding here.

We`ll pick a contest that`s somewhere between where we both live and get it on.

Because I am 220lbs with 19 inch arms my upper body is way to big for the board short division I could do classic just going to keep working out and eating and see what I weigh right now I am 220lbs in the am. Classic is 212lbs and open is 225lbs assuming I can fake an extra quarter inch in height otherwise it is 205lbs

you do know body building does not have a weight limit right?

classic is a "look" + weight limit and pussies like you who can't do the open do classic for various reasons.

Masters bodybuilding over-40 what`s the mystery?

Well they have weight classes and age groups at the Masters National. We would never stand next to each other unless we both won our divisions. A smaller show might have people mixed up more.

Also they didn't have classic when I followed bodybuilding in college now they do and it may be a better division for me and you

I would kind of prefer a smaller show until I have more experience competing but whatever when you are ready I am ready
