To each their own. I disagree. I find him pedestrian at best. As I said, I think Weider gave him 8 wins in a vainglorious attempt to show Arnold who was "boss".
Haney won some O's but not 8 in my opinion and yes, I know opinions are like Goodrums assholes...
Different tastes. I know Haney's physique tended to demoralize his competitors. There was a quality to it that was very hard to beat. The depth, the density, how the skin wrapped around the muscle. Skin is one of those things that has a big impact in bb. Those videos still make me go "holy shit", like how could anyone from that era hope to beat him.
As far as structure goes Yates was damn near perfect, it's an underappreciated quality in Dorian. He was nothing like the refridgerator Cutler like another poster said. His skin was damn unique too, no one could duplicate it no matter how lean.
Thanks for posting this. I almost forgot how incredible the great Lee Haney truly was. His best form vs Dorian's best vs Ronnie's best is really a pick em.
That combo of shots from 1:30-1:50, just unbeatable.
Haney retired just before higher doses of 191AA growth became practical. Just imagine him on years worth of 12iu growth as well as thermogenics like clen to get those glutes and hams harder. Would have been a sight to see.
