I don’t see him ever coaching in the NFL again. If it was the 90’s, he’d be back but not nowadays. His best bet is it take to social media for football commentary and film breakdowns unless they also ban him.

Gruden was "cancelled" simple as that. It started with an Investigation into Dan Snyder and looking into his private emails..over 650,000 of them. They happened to see Grudens name within some of those emails WHEN HE WASN'T EVEN IN THE LEAGUE during that time. Did what he say some things that were offensive? yes, but in this day and age everything is offensive. These were private emails. Ever been on the sidelines, locker room or practice? Gruden was a byproduct of that investigation that he wasn't even apart of

No I agree he won’t be coaching again.

I was just pointing out how dumb it is that words mean more than actions in out society.

But we saw it with the last Presidental election, Trumps offensive words were worse than his “good” actions. Meanwhile we elected a guy who voted as much “racist” legislation as anyone, who is as equally self serving btw, but said what people wanted to hear.

It will be interesting to see how the NFL tries to spin this whole event. If they were "releasing" emails until Gruden was pressured to quit or be fired that could be viewed as blackmail/strong arming, which would be  illegal.

They almost have to release all the emails at this point.

I just heard from an attorney on Newsmax that the releasing of those emails was illegal possibly due to a privacy act since Gruden wasn't apart of the NFL when those emails were exchanged.

Yeah, his career is ruined but I hope the NFL is held responsible for leaking these when they refused to release any information regarding the sexual misconduct with WFT's owner and leadership.
