This article is pure manipulation of numbers  They chose a date in Feb when the cases were way down between the 2nd and 3rd wave and then a date when the cases were peaking during the 3rd wave in April They should have chosen April 3rd when the cases reported were above 11k to get more bang for their buck so to speak The average cases per day during the 2nd and 3rd wave were about 8k This last wave that started in Aug has averaged about 4k which we haven't seen this low since the first wave in April 2020 when the average was about 1600 cases per day

That you might be required to either get the vaccine or continuously prove you clear of COVID at a cost of approximately $12 per rapid test in order to coach at a school, go to the gym, eat out and shop etc. Anything that impacted my life to that degree would instill a certain amount of fear. On the other hand, I have very little fear of getting COVID and even less of dying from it, because I took a couple easy peasy steps to avoid that happening.

I have met a lot of seasoned shitizens when I am undergoing treatment or just checkups at the hospitals.  More than a few are terrified of getting Covid and to date all of them have expressed the hope of more and more shots coming their way.  They feel they're doing a service to others by getting pumped full of vaccines.

What I find interesting about saying density is the problem is that it is in less populated cities and towns where the percentage of folks getting COVID is the highest. Covid is killing rural Americans at twice the rate of people in urban areas. Crowded places that put people in close quarters is where 'density' comes in to play. Specially indoor crowded places.

Guess I'm a fairly self-center and selfish person then because my reason for getting vaccinated was primarily that I am of an age where getting COVID can be more serious if not deadly. Secondly, as more an more venues are requiring either a COVID passport, or a very recent clear test, I will still have the ability to go where I please, like getting on a plane to Germany to visit my family there next summer.

PS, better hope you never have a fever when you go to a hospital for a checkup or treatment because they may just turn you away. I can't even get in the front door of my ophthalmologist office without being checked for a fever.
