What do you think of my stats
« on: December 21, 2021, 05:07:18 AM »
42 yrs
natural
90kgs/200lbs
Flat bench 125kgs / 275lbs
Trap bar deadlift 205kgs/  450lbs
Squat almost parallel 180kgs/ 400lbs, parallel 170kgs ish

Im about 20% bf, I think I need to cut down to 82kgs or so.

Btw I know there are way stronger lifters on here who are also natural.

Also do you notice that if you eat beef then the next day you are a little stronger, like its the testosterone in the beef giving you a boost?

You are not getting bioavailable testosterone from eating beef even if there was testosterone in the meat it wouldn’t make it through your stomach. Tren implanted beef might deliver you some bio available tren though as it is active orally of course so is estrogen and a lot of hormone fed cattle is fed or implanted with estrogen. All beef will give you some creatine and protein. Every meal makes you stronger

Like fuck you're 20 percent bodyfat, lol. I still remember that picture of you with your potbelly sagging out of your hoodie. I honestly thought it was one of the Tellytubbies.

Yeah people are overly kind to themselves when it comes to their bodyfat percentage.

There are probably only a handful of posters on here under 20%

For example someone like Bhank is one of the leanest on getbig and on his bad days he's struggling to hit sub 20%

Freeze Dried Beef Liver is the most anabolic substance known to man.  I source mine from Argentina exclusively.  It can be a hassle to get them but the difference cannot be denied.

I don't frequent a lot of "hardcore" gyms but in my lifetime (I'm 41) I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen someone benching 315+ for reps with good form, it's a rare strength level in the general population.  405 is a unicorn.

On Getbig of course this is common / weak.

Hanky's BF drops below 2% by the morning. He struggles to keep the fat on by gorging himself on cobblers. Without the constant food intake he could be in negative percentages.

Serious lifters who also juice are on a completely different level in my experience.

Similar I don’t frequent hardcore gyms either and have only seen 315 benched once by a fat bloke who stopped about halfway down to his chest on every rep

Yeah most commercial gyms it's rare to see anything over 300 bench pressed.

The gym i go to today i haven't seen a guy even attempt that much and the the only person who presses the 100+ DB's is myself, at least that i have seen. But it's a small gym.

Seen a few CrossFit dudes deadlifting over 500 pounds, which was impressive.

When i lived in Houston and trained at a 24 hour fitness known for having real lifters and BBer's, you would see guys working up to around 400 pounds quite regularly. But this wasn't a normal gym. It was formerly a World Gym and had a hardcore atmosphere to it for about 10-15 years.

The powerlifting gym i trained at on the West side of Houston had 100 pound plates and like 6 squat racks. DB's up to 160. Lots of guys in there used to bench 500 or so, but the gym was owned by a guy who help run the WABDL federation and gave guys memberships for $15 a month. People drove over an hour to get there.

They had everything you could imagine. Only place i've seen a glute/ham raise machine, bands/chains, chalk stations ,etc. They had old school machines from the 70's. It was great but he went out of business, no money in hardcore gyms. Tried to tailor it to the soccer mom's and normal lifters towards the end, didn't work out. It's a Country Bar now.

Same,I’ve been to a ton of gyms and rarely do I see I good bench press with 225. So I definitely notice 275 being benched by someone who isn’t 250. 315 is very rare especially with good form.

In my early 20's I was involved with a sports physiology research project at a local university. At the time I was right in season and as lean as could be- veins everywhere and all that. They hydrostatically weighed me to calculate body fat and I came in at 12%! Way higher than I thought.
20% is actually pretty fit. The average guy out there who doesn't have a beer belly could easily be 25%

Yes, it’s rare.

The most I’ve ever seen someone bench is 6 plates per side. A guy at my gym they called “Big Will.” He played one season in the NFL. Was like 6’8” at 300-325 pounds. He was roided to the gills. I remember he used to bench the 175 dumbbells on the incline for like 10-12 reps.

Of course, he was nothing compared to Daren Avey.

I think it really depends on what kind of gym you go to.  I used to rarely see anyone doing anything over 315, but now I see it all the time.  I'm a LEO officer, and we have our own gym for the local officers, and there are a few guys tossing around crazy weight!  One guy placed top 10 in the Arnold Amatuer a few years ago, and I watched him rep 405 for 8 clean reps.  The fucker made it look so easy that I thought I could do it for a second! LOL!
