oh so it's about the ethics of the kill and the humane treatment of animals? and have you ever looked into the way slaughterhouses treat the animals that you purchase for food. when you eat a burger, or have a steak or a hotdog. don't talk about the treatment of animals. when you support and finance the least humane industry of all. Ha Hypocrite. x4
The point he was making went right over your head. The point he is making is that people who kill just to kill. For a trophy head on the wall, posing for a picture with the kill as if they are some kind of warrior champion. They are not killing to feed their family. Their not starving. I never understand why people who hunt take pictures of the kill so they can brag about it. Pretty stupid really. It would be like me going to the grocery store and buying large steak and posing with it. Hunters put so much money into equipment, guns, and camo that it's not a sport. The animal they are going to kill has no clue what is going to happen. In most cases the hunter shoots it from a man made concealment from. Far distance like a sniper. No sport. Go chase it down with a spear and a knife, then maybe we can talk about a sporting effort.
As far as the meat industry I agree with you. It's disgusting, I have actually toured live slaughter houses. It's not pleasant at all. I have cut so far back on my consumption of meat I myself am surprised. It's been years since I have bought red meat. Yes I still eat eggs and fish. My eggs are for the most part from local free ranges my friends have.
Humans do not need meat to survive. Honestly humans would live a much healthier longer life without.
