My mother died of cancer years ago and yes she was a baby boomer but she was an exception.  She was joyous and never complained (even when she had cancer and got radiation and was paralyzed).   My dad is miserable and elderly now and he said he wants to die because he is suffering a lot.  He has had a lot of health issues and he is 85 now.    I would want to die too if I was very unhealthy and 85 and could barely do anything.   He expresses gratitude sometime over a meal or a sunny day but most of the time he is suffering so why would he want to live like this?

That's a buckle, a soft buckle, but a buckle none-the-less. I give Joe credit for a decent response. Spotify's stock is down a lot much like a lot of pandemic boosted stocks. Right now, the last couple of days, it's having a little up swing. They don't need a need a bunch of democrats pressuring singers to leave the platform. Neil doesn't matter, but what they don't want is some bigger, younger acts thinking about leaving Spotify, if even for a little while.

This whole notion that people need to be shielded from 'misinformation' is insane to begin with. 

The assumption is that people are incapable of thinking for themselves.  And while that may be true more often than not,  what makes Joni Mitchell or Neil Young the arbiter of what is good information for me vs. Bad information for me.

I can't even fathom the arrogance but I can think for myself and I'll decide what I give weight to.

Joe is simply a gracious, measured, intelligent, reasonable, and thoughtful, individual.

Yeah he did the right thing.

Instead of creating a divide, he admits that his podcast could possibly cause people to make decisions based on the information provided.

It's just an opinion podcast for discussion.

No different than Getbig or anything other platform.

Joe is a good person and unlike most Liberal nutjobs, he's willing to admit he can do a better job.

People like Rogan and Musk are the reason why this country has stayed as sane as it has.
