The sunken cost for the Ukraine war is tragic, because in the end it's all been for nothing - all parties have lost, Zelensky has been a total and utter disaster for the Ukrainian people.

This is what's busy happening: Trump is not interested in continuing support for Ukraine. Putin & Trump are busy prepare this war’s end. Ukraine collapse is unstoppable and will end as a neutral territory, Russia will not cave to NATO, Russia will anex the 4 oblasts maybe more if the war continues. Zelensky is doomed.

I'm not pro Russia or China, they're run by dictators that opress their people, Fuck them. But how many times did NATO/US poke the bear and not take Russia's countless broken red lines & warnings to back off seriously. The US has the Munro doctrine for the same reason - to warn other countries from backing of it's western territory (look what happened to Cuba when the USSR placed missiles there).

This was all so predictable in Real world politics - which is NOT fair or just in reality. The fact is any small country (be it Ukraine, Taiwan or Cuba) situated right next to any great power (US, Rus, China) is not free to make it's own decisions, independant or sovereign.

I can't blame anyone for the cognitive dissonance they are experiencing now. People that been conned by war mongering media and the Liberal political class for thinking Ukraine could do as it pleased and become part of NATO. In what world! That's as far-fetched as Mexico or Canada thinking they'd be free to do as they please and allow Russian or the Chinese to have their military bases there. The US would NEVER  allow that to happen. Mexico or Canada would be invaded by the US in an instant!

I came to Germany in ´85 & the BAOR was a big Army not like today.

Russia has ruled out any Nato peacekeeping force in Ukraine as part of a ceasefire agreement.
