What is the truth about the supposed neonazis in Ukraine?

All the "experts" I follow talk about them as a fact but all the MSM sources say they aren't there and laugh about Putin's supposed denazification as ridiculous propaganda. I think BigRo too. Are the Nazis there like the supposed Nazis in the US where anyone is Nazi who doesn't like immigration? The one's I follow say the Nazis/extreme right wing nationalists/ banderites are a powerful block in the Ukraine government. Just yesterday some American journalist in Kursk, a former US marine, was saying Ukrainian soldiers left Nazi slogans on walls in Kursk, "1488" and such. Propaganda?

I also seem to recall reading that Navalny was a right wing extremist with Nazi or fascist leanings, by the left's standards if he had been in the west, but he was the west's darling because he was against Putin? I think Putin is very much against nationalism, depending on how you define it I guess?

I haven't seen any good articles showing how numerous these supposed Nazi's in the army and government are. Sach's and such are talking about them as if they are for real and might kill Zelensky as he offers concessions to Russia wrt to land or whatever.

Thanks. The BCC was warning of them there, though that seemed to disappear after the invasion. The article does say they are few and that most Ukranians aren't informed. I remember around the invasion time there were pics posted of the Azov batallion wearing the Wolfsangel badge on their uniforms and a little later it was switched to something else, obviously because the associations were negative PR. Of course in war time those accusations are brushed away as unimportant or said to be Russian propaganda, as long as they are fighting on the right side (like Israel building and supporting antisemitic Islamist terror groups). But I would like to know how much power they have now because the American "Russophiles" (analysts with a backround in US intelligence services) say the government is full of them and "they are sitting on a lot of weapons" and have Zelensky scared for his life. Even just nationalism without the racism or antisemitism is seen as evil in the west, US and Europe. Nationalist in the US equals white supremacist, no matter how much they protest otherwise.

Good post. This whole thing stinks. Some in Russia are already saying the attack on Russia is grounds for using nuclear weapons. Attacking Russian bombers is an existential threat to Russia.

I would venture none of it can be trusted, on both sides. But I doubt Russia's death toll is nearly as bad as Ukraine's — perhaps by many factors.

Regardless, Russia is used to suffering and death in war. They lost tens of millions in WW2. Don't forget France's invasions. They paid for their land with blood. I don't see Russia losing any war anytime soon. The world will be destroyed if Russia is destroyed.

Every day Putler resides over the blitzing of Ukrainian cities, its fair game to destroy military targets, and Russia started the so called proxy war. What is he going to do lob in some tactical nukes? That would bring a huge Nato intervention. I am for this pointless war to stop sooner than later.
