When I was in contest condition and took my shirt off everyone took me for being 20 pounds heavier.....also used to happen to me at shows while I was getting weighed in.....of course I had no legs.  LOL

do the majority of women TRULY TRULY think that a big muscle guy is disgusting? Or is it really a indictment on themselves and their own body image issues and insecurity which MOST women themselves have?..

I've always said if said big muscle guy had a big fat wallet and a decent personality, this "ewww" mindset would change quite quickly...

that being said, in regards to the original question, who wants to look good if only undressed? wouldn't the "sweet spot" be looking jacked and good in clothes AND out of them?....

This has been my experience as well. The body women seem to most prefer is the decathlete type, about 6’2”, 185.

Try being 5'4" and weighing 197-203 when I was my biggest.  Even now at 180ish, I don't bother with fashion at all.  Polo's are too tight even in XL, and hang down way past my ass.  If I tuck them in, they're so bunched up it makes it look like I'm wearing depends.  I wear nothing but t-shirts and shorts in the summer and fall, and sweats that I have to get altered and hoodies the rest of the year.  Fuck it....at least, I'm always comfy
