Nope, we push things away from us, we were never designed to lift things over our head, when do apes lift things over their head in the wild?

jokes aside, you are likely correct but I find it odd to consider an overhead lift as unnatural while seeing no issue with laying down on a bench and isolating the upper body to press a weight

Overhead pressing is good for your shoulders.

If you've already messed up your shoulders doing excessive bench pressing it's too late.

You're f*cked.

you are pushing away from the body, not overhead
we vlie on a bench because of gravity

Bench press is mostly front delts anyway

Flex your pecs and then look where your hands are

Cable crossovers hit the pecs like no other exercise

Alo to hit the meat of the whole pec declines are great
Incline press hardly works the pecs at all
