It’s an honest to god measurement. Took it for the first time in probably a year was happy with it honestly knew they had grown shorts and pants all fit different. Goal is to add another inch to the legs this next year that’s it don’t care about how much I weigh or how much I bench. Will be happy just to maintain upper body But want to add one more inch to the legs very clear definable measurable goal.

Well, if it were an honest to upper case "God", it would be more believable.
Maybe.   Kinda.  Sorta. ;D

Measurable but not measured, right Bhanky?

26 inches is 3 dozen right?

Your waist has grown significantly. Legs no chance

In 1995/1996 my red shirt freshman year I attended NC State University on a partial scholarship. I was 17 years old. I was 140-45lbs and trained with Kendall Cross an assistant coach local wrestler on a daily basis he was my primary workout partner. We also had the Junior National Freestyle Champ from the previous year on full scholarship the 3 of us were the same size and trained together daily.  Kendall went on to win the 1996 Olympics that summer at 57 kilograms. I had some issues and did not return to University the following year. I had my bilateral knee surgeries the following year after a snowboard injury and by the time I had recovered enough to wrestle again I had no more NCAA eligibility. I never really fully recovered. I did some BJJ wrestled in the Army and did some MMA but it's not the same as NCAA I am still unhappy with it and it's probably one reason I train to this day.

Was that a "Star Trek" red shirt?  Asking for a Trekkie friend of mine.

Regardless of how big you think I look in the video I am 225lbs this morning. My left arm is taping just over 18.5 cold and the right is taping 18 cold. The forearms tape 16 and are vascular as all hell. The one quad I taped was 26.5 yesterday and the waist is 33 the calves are 17 and my bodyfat is right around 10%. The neck is 18.5 cold and 19 flexed cold. At 44 years old I think that is damn good. No one and I mean no one sees me in real life and doesn't think I am some kind of bodybuilder/weightlifter whether I am in clothes or not.
LMFAO!!! You can't tape your quads together and call it one quad. ;D

a) Red Shirting allows you to train, but not compete varsity. People generally do it if injured, or getting used to the program. You then have another 4 years to compete varsity.

b) Hankins accidental sitting on his shirt.....

Matt
No Hate here, Just what i see.

you're just a bigger & fatter version of your 2006 self .
No Change in body proportions - all parts that were lacking are still proportionally lacking in comparison to the others as they were in 2006.

it's your Training that is the issue - your not looking at yourself as a bodybuilder and Clearly not training as one .

If your goal was just to be heavier version of yourself you have achieved that.
If you had trained & added size as a bodybuilder you'd look a lot better
Physically -
Mind all have Different goals

WOW.

I can’t believe you’re HATING on Matt.

He’s there ONLY person on GetBig that likes you.

I just went on YouTube and searched for every video on the platform for dumbbell presses of 100-lb or more, to check form. This is what I found:

Go to the 4 minute mark:

Go to 4:20:

Go to 3:33:

^ Numerous sets they do are done with a limited range of motion.

George Leeman had the best form, and got 38 reps:

^ Meaning that NO ONE on Getbig can do 100-lb dumbbells for 38.

I can do 10 on a good day with my range of motion being SLIGHTLY shorter than George's. I'm curious how many reps the people criticizing me can get.

For people to be trashing my lift, which wasn't that bad - and better than any example I found on YouTube with the same weight - just astounds me.

Polite, constructive criticism, I can handle. But for a group of men, NOT ONE OF WHOM is is as strong as me to talk shit. Seriously?

I literally SCOURED YouTube for videos of men shoulder pressing 100-lb dumbbells or more, and maybe 1 in 5 videos show a range of motion greater than mine.

Meaning: there is NOTHING wrong with my range of motion - nothing! As if every single rep needs to be like an instruction video - that's just not true.

My reps are fine.

Taking them down 2-3", and they'd be perfect.

But after going on YouTube and finding the above videos, I can now no longer take comments about my form seriously.

Why would I? It's clear some of you are criticizing me just for the sake of being critical, and nothing more.
