We need to distinguish deaths with Covid versus deaths directly of Covid.
Most deaths listed as Covid deaths are of people with underlying health conditions.
Only 10% died exclusively of Covid, if not fewer.
Also, the average age is about 80. Canadians aged 70+ comprise 82% of deaths. In the USA, people aged 75+ comprise over 50% of deaths.
So while we are having ~15,000 Covid deaths each year, 12,000+ of those people are over 70.
So under 3,000 Canadians under age 70 die of Covid each year. And about 2,700 of them have cancer or other diseases.
Covid is not a threat for healthy people.
