This is the worst acting job I’ve ever seen for an otherwise great fighting movie. Was he supposed to be retarded? Why is he wearing a NY Giants jersey and a SF Giants hat? Once again, was he retarded?

Like Escape from Alcatraz is over 40 years old now and has aged horribly, but it's got to the stage where that's part of the charm now. Shawshank will get there too.

Great movie but like you, I`ve seen it way too many times....I`ll have to wait quite a while before I watch it again.

The first time I saw it, I had rented it, played it, cried when Doc was dying, stopped it andimmediately played it again......now not so much,  and fuck Doc.

If you look at it that way, and that is correct rendition of events, he did a good job.

Speaking of cringey movies that don’t stand the test of time, I was watching the first 30 minutes of Back to the Future 2 the other day. The futuristic scenes in that movie are extremely lame and were way off plus they had to replace Marty’s girlfriend and went with an uglier downgrade. The movie gets better as it goes, but the first quarter of it was pretty bad. The first one is still great although a couple of Getbiggers who shall remain nameless recently ruined the entire Johnny B. Goode scene for me (due to pissy pants Chuck Berry’s fart videos)

This part ruled because it reminds me of someone….

i think the opposite, love the futuristic scenes and think once he goes back to 1955 to get the almanac the movie gets slow and boring, and arguably too dark for the overall tone the series had

Fight club is a philosophical movie. It's about materialism. In a philosophical sense it's a great movie about current times and attitudes.
