Mel, is my dude when it comes to war movies and period pieces. Braveheart, The Patriot, We Were Soldiers, Apocalypto.....

I'm sure it's a well done movie. I won't go near it.

TBH anything during Kevin Costners run...starting with Dances With Wolves... then Bodyguard. Both Critically acclaimed and commercially successful. They were ok and nothing more.

Cataclysmic floods I agree with. It goes with the natural cycle of things. We have ice ages, we have droughts, and we also have smart people.
