This is American tradition. Ever since I was a child, I noticed and was unimpressed by the fact that in American movies, they make it a point to make the "hot girl" or "hot guy" pig out on junk food, as some warped form of social domination of the "normies" who "have to watch their diet"

Ya, his actual biggest regret was for blasting gear with one kidney.

But he has great genetics 

I have no hate for the guy though as I do have sympathy for people in that situation.

Realistically not slimming down and living a normal life he will be luck to make it 10 years.
