this shit again with the "how much you bench bro..."

Can you imagine living with the amount of thinking on this and other juvenile shit thats in matts head all the time...wtf

Long post - obviously feel free to ignore it, but just to address the idea here:

While I don't believe I mentioned it, this is in response to Walter's Sobchak's balderdash about warming up with my workout.

In 2005, SquadFatter trashed me for posting a video where I bench pressed 265 for four reps [maybe more], because I didn't go all the way down. The reason for that was because I didn't have a spotter, and I was approaching a weight close to my max at the time. I was just being cautious. Granted, I could have lowered the weight, but it was not a big deal to not touch the bar to my chest.

Anyway, he claimed to have a bench press 100-lb heavier than that.

I then went to my first strength contest in January of 2006, and got a 280-lb bench press, completed successfully under IPF rules. I failed 300-lb, but should have likely tried 285 on my third attempt - maybe 290, max.

My body weight was between 172-178, but I can't recall exactly. I was in the Middleweight category [<185-lb], and placed 4th in my weight class.

So on one hand, you had SquadFatter telling me my bench was nothing, then on the other hand, I objectively almost had a podium finish at my first strength contest [in my weight class].

I noticed many other lifting claims online were completely out of touch with the reality that I saw at any gym I attended.

That's when I went from buying into online lift claims, to actively disbelieving them, and even resenting them.

They mess with my head. They make me question my progress, when my week-to-week gym output is probably in the top 1% of people who lift weights.

On top of that, SquadFatter turned out to be closer to 100-lb over his claimed 230-lb body weight, and hideously ugly, in addition to being fat.

We also had a 225-lb deadlift for reps contest in 2007. I got 25 reps, three of which didn't count because I rested the last three on the ground before locking them out. I placed 3rd in that contest. I could do 315x20 today...and could get 405x15 with a few weeks/months of specific training for it.

What I wanted to see from this thread is where I stand for strength on here, and then, how that adjusts for my size.

And just as I expected, my lifts are pretty respectable, and especially so for my body weight.

And many of the most negative posters have no evidence they are stronger than me - just as I expected.

So what I will assume is that my training is fine, my results are fine, and that all of it, while clearly not the best out there, is definitely above average.

To think I allowed that fatass SquadFatter [RIP] to almost stop me from entering strength contests, all because his lies made me think I wasn't at a good enough level.

I think in general, social media messes with people's minds.

One thing about me is that I look exactly like I do in pictures, always lift roughly what I do in videos, and am very consistent with that.

I don't want people to see a fake/filtered version of me. I am a "what you see is what you get" thing. I want people to base their reality on REALITY, and not contribute to the extremely fake world we live in.

I think social media messes with our minds. I know many hot women for instance, who feel insecure about minor things - and I think social media is partially to blame for that.

But I do have....a flaccid penis so small, that when I go yo the bathroom, from the side, it looks like a stream of water coming out of a bush of hair.

Bit I'm not insecure about this.

I mean..

Damnit! Typos there.

Thank you for quoting my post, and addressing it with implied disgust.

I can't believe I missed such obvious typos!

Hi Matt great post I stopped reading after Walter still being in your head.

How have you been to multiple expos and never witnessed anyone do any impressive lifts? I just saw a short chubby Hispanic dude hit 405 for 3 reps on flat bench and it was impressive because he did not look like he even lifted at all.

Did you ever consider in the world outside of Thunder Bay there may be strong people?

Of course many would be strong at Getbig, this is a site for weightlifting, bb and strength enthusiasts. And many lie. Let it go.

You’re strong and an elite lifted in your class, who cares what we think? This site hates on any and everyone who is “successful” in the life.

Remember where you are.

But you read that, right? A penis so flaccid that when he voids it looks like a stream of water coming out of a bush of hair.

WTF?!

"1"

Yes.

I mean, well - no. In the freezing Canadian winter, yes.

I joke about it, because my flaccid dick is not proportional with my erect dick.

I think it's also the dick anyone would expect me to have. Not that there is any correlation, apparently. But for instance, I don't have a hairy back, or loose skin, or big nipples...so I think it would be expected I don't have some disgusting massive foreskin. Two women thought I was circumsized.

Bast's chest goes into his armpits. Meanwhile, I have very little chest muscle fiber, and my biceps insert literally a full inch from my elbow joints.

And just as I am limited on muscle cells, I'm limited on fat cells.

It's good and bad - I'd be ok with 3cm in height and 1cm in cock size...but if the trade-off meant I'd have to be bald, or have a discoloured dick covered in birthmarks, for instance, I'd stay as I am.

One thing I can say for sure - I do appreciate looking well. I.e., completely blemish-free skin, still having good hair and teeth, and being in shape. I know as an absolute certainty that women prefer me when I am in shape versus when I am a bit out of shape, and these things suit me.

I take for granted how little game you need when you have some or all of these things going for you.

However, it is shallow, and I probably shouldn't care, or at least learn to be at peace with myself if I lost these things.

As for this thread - I'm really not one to care about who lifts more than me. It was hilarious seeing some of the local Strongman who prided themselves being better than others, meanwhile, they were bald, or had no money.

I'm fine looking like this [for now], and comfortably living off my current savings. Things are good for me, so why would I wish ill on any others?

Once it sinks in how good I actually have it, I think I can beat my most recent bout with depression, and hopefully for a long time. I'll say it - I'm blessed. I'm very lucky.

Though, to be fair, most North Americans should feel the same way just for being here.

But I do fine it irritating when some posters are extremely negative to others and have no proof of their claims.

Again, SquadFatter made wild claims - all unproven - while ripping into people.

Why be so negative to others, let alone when you are 330-lb of fat, with a face only a mother could love?

RIP Squadfather AKA David Mirza.

It just boggles my mind to think of what was going on at the time with sarcasm/Squadfather bashing me, because it was so ludicrous. For all the negative comments of me by some people, the bottom line is I still get laid just by literally standing in place at social functions.

Literally doing absolutely nothing, but existing in a form fitting shirt.

I'm sure that pains some of the people trashing me.

And the thing is, both they and I know the above is true.

And this has gone on for some time. To be clear, this man...

You’re strong and an elite lifted in your class, who cares what we think? This site hates on any and everyone who is “successful” in the life.

Remember where you are.

Where did you see someone flat bench 405x3?

I've probably literally personally witnessed that three times in my life. I could even name two of the men who did it. The third person - who was the first person I ever saw bench press 405 in person, back in 2001 - I never personally met. The other two are acquaintances.

But you really JUST saw that, Dave?

Do you train in a specialized gym...or was it rare for you to see such a lift?

I don't think most people working out at normal gyms would see anyone benching 405 or more, more than once a month. If that. For me - not even close. Shoot - there can't even be more than 15 men in my city who even bench that to begin with.

Yes, at bodybuilding expos I have seen impressive lifts...mainly at contests. Even then, you'd be surprised at how FEW bodybuilders you even see in tank tops.

EVEN TOP BODYBUILDERS ARE INSECURE, AND REMAIN COVERED UP.

It blows my mind.

And that brings me to the crux of my argument: the lies of other people, and the filters and unrealistic standard, both in mainstream media and in social media, is making people feel insecure about their own results, even among some people in the top 1% of certain areas

And that's an issue.

I'm consistently shocked at women who are insecure about every tiny little thing.

But what can you expect when they are inundated with images of other women that are taken under perfect lighting, then altered with filters and photo editing?

Just as the delusional man below literally invented a fiction in his mind about 58 Covid deaths he never witnessed [when Thunder Bay only had 69 deaths at the time, only 32 of whom were under 80], people are creating false narratives in their mind about beauty and achievement, and holding themselves to these nonsensical standards.

Tell me how this clown personally knew at least 26 people over the age of 80?

This man is literally scripting an entire lie about the pandemic's lethality in his mind - and he seems to actually believe his lies...this is analogous to Squadfather's own beliefs in himself, and his superiority over others, when in reality, he was nothing like his projected online image.

These lies then infect others, and next thing you know, you have masses of people believing in an entire fake pandemic, or rafts of top 1-5% women who think they are fat and ugly, when none of the claims they believe are true can be objectively verified.

It's scary to me what human delusion is capable of.

It also makes my mind very chaotic, due to being autistic. But lies hurt EVERYONE. They just hurt autistic people more.

This is why I want objectively verifiable claims. Because it restores order when people lie and make my mental framework out of order.

Again, I almost never chose to compete in strength contests because of SquadFatter's lies. So whether I like it or not, these lies influence me. And again - I am just trying to restore order.

Matt,
I would guess your chest development is mainly due to your exercise selection.

Really, IroNat?

I will grant that my front shoulders are likely eating into my chest gains. But I also feel I may have the most inferior chest genetics that I have ever personally witnessed.

Although I am shocked to see someone at the gym with even worse cheat genetics than me - which I have seen - but my chest genetics are absolutely abysmal.

I am not convinced that my chest will much improve under any circumstances - even with better training. Even with steroids. Even with BOTH.

^ There's a reason why I cropped that photo above the chest like I did, LOL.

Crap chest.

My chest only looks good - certainly to my satisfaction, at least - immediately after a chest workout, when pumped up.

Cock Talk Of Peace

Both are small and useless to Getbig, and inherently unfixable.

On a serious note - I do think it's possible my chest can never be improved significantly.

I could maybe dedicate a full of year of training under the exercise and steroid program of Milos Sarcev, and improve it to the point that it looks momentarily impressive with a pump to a degree better than my current lifetime best - but I don't ever see myself having a good chest 24/7 without a pump.

As I said, I always wanted that "shelf look" that your chest has. But I don't think I am genetically capable of achieving it.

LOL!!!!

I catch up on Vince Goodrum's YouTube channel every Sunday evening, by watching his latest videos on my big TV.

Vince Goodrum: "Whhaaaatt's goin' awn every-buddy??"

Gets me every time. 😂

Regarding your hypothetical movie...

After seeing photos of Queen Vincey, and knowing that Vince Goodrum dated him, all I can say is - Vince has sunk lower than to star in such a hypothetical movie with me.  ;D

TOTAL FUCKING RETARD!

A full fucking steroid cycle to accomplish:
(1) Gay videos to Primehomosexual for queer sex
(2) Bounce 225 lbs of your sparrow-like rib cage
(3) Let Josh Rehaluk suck your cock for rent payment
(4) Gain zero fucking muscle and still have nothing to do with raising your brood of illegitimate kids.

Tell us more about the Bob Paris seminar you attended in 1986, likely into your twenties already, making you around 60 today, and remember: Getbig misses nothing.

I was surprised you mentioned that, actually. Surely you should have to put together that someone could piece together a minimum age for you once furnished with that information, right?

And you made fun of me for being 40.

I never claimed to be particularly large or muscular. Although my current look [5'9" / 205-lb] does garner a lot of attention from the general public.

The only thing I did claim was that I am strong for my size, and strong by the normal standards of people who go to the gym.

I am also considerably stronger than you are, and I out-lift you on every lift, possibly excluding barbell curls or barbell shrugs, or some other lift or lesser importance like that.

I am stronger than you on all major lifts and secondary or accessory lifts. I could out-lift you on any lift you perform at 263-lb while I drop to a staggering lowly 163-lb.

Do you grasp the significance of that claim?

I am stronger than you at every major lift, even if you have a full 100-lb weight advantage on me.

That truly does boggle the mind.

I know it upsets you to know that my genetics for strength [and sort of..."robustness"] so completely out-match yours, that I can even beat you while weighing a full 100-lb less than you do.

Amazing. I get that some people have better genetics than others in certain ways, but it shocks me knowing how genetically superior I am to you solely in terms of raw power/strength.

I believe you may outweigh me. But you'd be shocked at how fast anyone my size with a wrestling background could take down a man your alleged size.

You would never make that last comment on to my face in real life. I personally would never mess with a man's family. People get their faces rearranged for that.

As for your other points:

Yes, I did bounce 225 for 25 reps on the bench - but that was at 170-lb and drug-free:

^ I find it refreshing to watch a video of me vastly outperforming your max personal reps with 225 on the bench while I weigh almost a full 100-lb least than you do. Talk about a major discrepancy in genetic strength potential, with me having vastly superior strength genetics than you.

I could only imagine how I'd feel if a 5'2", 135-lb Getbigger was out-lifting me on every lift.

I got 225x22 two weeks ago, and I assume I could get 25 again if I did it again - literally right now. I'd just need a sufficient warm-up.

That said, that is not a strength level I am incapable of achieving on my own. I can and have and will again get 225x25 completely hormone-free.

Getting 26-30 reps will be considerably more difficult, while natural.

Lastly, it was not a full steroid cycle.

I had no test Base. Certainly, I would have gotten to 220-lb and 17.5" biceps has I included the planned 500mg of Sustanon weekly.

Yes, I am planning to have Josh over. We are in the process of tracking you online. I am currently going over a list of all Bob Paris and Tom Platz seminars to see where they were held back to back, to pinpoint the city you grew up in.

It will be a joy to crack this mystery with classic Getbigger Josh.

Lastly, I will go back to strength training as my cycle ends. So I will next be getting stronger as I get smaller.

I'd love to see you attribute my strength to steroids once I am 170-lb again deadlifting 510+.

Anadrol to do quarter reps with 225. No pec development in sight. Still posing in your mommy’s yoga tights.

You lift like a weak teenager.

And you’re a spastic creepy retard who wants to get ass fucked by an 80 year old man.

It’s no wonder your family has such an extensive history of domestic abuse.

225 x 6 and half of those are shit reps.

You don’t have any type of wrestling background, you’re copying that off of bhank. Just fucking stop with your bullshit. You lie as much as the thieving cocksukker Josh Rehaluk.

You’re a weak little 165 lb retard. No amount of drugs will ever change that.

Josh Rehaluk is using you, because he is a thief and you’re a spastic moron who wants to get fucked by old men.

Stop failing at benching 225 lbs and go raise your fucking brood of illegitimate feral kids.

Weakling.

He sent a jerkoff video to an 80 year old homo seeking validation.

Not to sound like Matt or Hanky but I wrestled but only in junior high but in street fights not one single person has ever gotten out of my headlock and I was scratched in my eyes on two occasions, put through a wall, and a window and still never let go....made one grown man cry and threaten to get his brothers after me.....they would have suffered the same fate.

It was at in LA Fitness in SoCal. Literally 3 weeks ago. Everyone was waiting for the weight to crush him.

It’s not that unusual. Maybe it is in Thunder Bay. But I’ve lived and trained in all over Michigan, Chicago, Orlando and now SoCal. 400 + bench press aren’t an everyday thing but they are not that unusual. 500 + is pretty rare.

Your need to get out of your bubble.

I`ve witnessed quite a few 405-500 benches and even heavier personally.....of course where I was from it was a veritable hotbed of bodybuilding and powerlifting as swell as arm wrestling back in the day.
