Man of Steel, that was a really good one, wish it happend to me and I met my old school bully. At one point in your story I though you were going to let him struggle with the lift and leave him to suffer lol

Great story.  I am similar in that I didn't start lifting until I was like 21 or 22.  It's such a great feeling to look much better than the people that thought they would be cool forever in high school...  The moment they realize who you, are you can see the "holy sh!t" expression on their faces - priceless.  (It also works well on girls that thought they were too good for you - especially when they are with their fat husbands when they get the "holy sh!t" feeling...)  Way to go MOS...

Yes, I was fortunate just once in my life that I had "one of those moments you dream of" kinda thing.....and yes, I've had a few moments with a couple girls (and guys) from high school....they were far less dramatic, but still satisfying.....one instance involved an old high school circle of friends that happened to remain close years after graduation and were having dinner (I was certainly not apart of their high school group, but they knew of me)....some of my current friends were friends with a few of the folks from that click and they were catchin up while we all waited for tables at a restraunt.   I hung back with some our other friends not in their little conversation and after a few minutes I heard, "OMG!!!  That's not him!!  OMG!!  He's looks awesome!!" They called named and got my attention and I gave a courteous smile and that was it.   Eh, I've lived on both extreme ends of the spectrum so I understand both sides now.

i like the first story better also, could you tell one now where you hunt down the guy in the first story and beat him to death and leave his body stuffed inside the old locker you once used...:)

Great story Man of Stool (remember the Squad calling you this ?  ;D). Too bad I didnt follow the Y board closely enough to witness the moment when you became part of the Squad. Good to see you have blended right in. It must be an honour to be in the same league as the rest of the Squad - My Congratulations  :P

My blending with the Squad came unexpectedly......it just so happened that one day our goals became one and the same.....it was after a 7-hour destruction of the X-toilet that I officially joined the ranks of the Squad....and yes it a great honor to serve with the powerhouses of the Squad!!

I met Lee Haney at a contest in 1990.  When I saw him it was like seeing Jesus Christ in the flesh.  I could barely believe it was really him and damn he was huge.  I took a picture with him as did all my friends and Lee was a true gentleman and a complete professional.  He was kind, courteous and answered questions from anyone about anything.

I first met Lee Haney in NC at a bodybuilding meet he guest posed at in his prime back in the mid 80's.
He was and is a class act. Here he is at last years NPC  Ga state meet where I judged.
EVERYone was thrilled to meet and greet Lee at the show.

Ok since this thread got a bit off track,( de-railed would be more like it ;D, I will give another brief time I will always cherish. I was in a really tough Lt Hvy wt class at theNPC  Jr USA in NC back in 1987. The place was packed for the prejudging and during the 60 sec individuals, when a guy would hit a good shot, the crowd would go off.Lots of guys were muscular  and freaky, so about 30 sec into it, I decided to hit a single bi - hand streched overhead Zane pose with abs flexed. The crowd really cheered and came to life, so I held the shot for a few extra sec , flexing as hard as I could. I heard various ' yo Zaneman and ripped abs, etc ' calls from the crowd.
It was a mere blip on the world of bodybuilding's radar screen , but my 15 sec of fame at a big show  ;)
