The contradictions are incredible.

Rick Wayne actually said Arnold initially was a spokesman for the bodybuilders that wanted to unionize.  Said he arranged a meeting with tge athletes and the Weiders. Arnold began talking about forming a union and everyone kept quiet. Fearing if they spoke up there'd be repercussions while Arnold was safe either way. But Arnold felt betrayed when no one spoke up-even though they asked for his help- looked like an asshole in front of the Weiders talking about a union and no one backs him. Arnold was embarrassed and walks out . Tells them don't bother asking for my help again.

Sounds about right when it comes to the Arnold/Union situation. By this time - Arnold was a multi-millionaire property developer. He was his own man. Didn't need the money. I suppose he needed some backing from his friends in that sitdown rather than coming across as the 'instigator' behind it all. You don't go together and confront a situation as a group in a meeting like that and expect just one person to do all the work and expose without at least confirming that you're as passionate about the situation. Arnold probably felt like these cowards made it seem like it was all his doing and making him look out to be a schemer trying to concoct a plot against the Weiders. No wonder he thought, "fuck you all, then." Kissed the Weirders and walked out.
