I want the cardiovascular benefits without losing muscle.
Stay hydrated and measure your weight, biceps and waist multiple times a day for a few weeks to suss shit out and be at one with your beautiful body.
I've always been para about losing muscle from playing sport, long walks.....
I'm pretty sure it doesn't make much of a difference. You won't lose muscle by walking for 42 minutes.
Lack of food is a bigger muscle killer.
You can shrink a bit temporarily after a long brutal workout (mostly glycogen depletion and dehydration I reckon) but then bounce right back after eating, drinking
, listening to Pantera..
I remember back in the 16th century (no Wes) when I first started lifting and would bench for over an hour straight and notice I'd eventually lose my pump, look/get more and more deflated the longer I benched for after a certain point..
When you barbell bench too long, you become the barbell.
Be water and glycogen my friend. Not barbell.
Empty your mind and fill your body with steroids.
