Technically, it was my second try at benching: not long after my 13th birthday, I benched 140 with relaive ease. My friend had a set of the SEARS concrete-filled plates, and after vidoegames, we got bored and tested our strength. We weighed the plates and set off on our competition.
He topped at around an even 100. I tried it and repped it out. We loaded the bar with all of the weights he had and it was easy.
