Back work Today

Pulldowns to front wide & medium grip around 9sets

Db row from 45kg to 65kg [heaviest they had]
High reps down to 6/7 - sets plenty

Machine one arm pulldowns - never used this machine before
20kg start finish 60kg High to low reps - sets 5/6

Hanging power cleans 50kg to 70kg reps 8/5 sets 6 I think.

Then decided I'd try there leg extension & seated leg machines
only did a few sets each & hi'ish reps around 15s.

Neck work to finish.

Getting tough these sessions now- not soul crusher tough but beyond polio mono pec brian the flamingo of get big tough


Leg ext- 3 x triple drop
Panatta Squat- 6 x 10
Adductors- 3 x double drop
Abductors 3 x double drop
Standing leg curl 3 x 15

Calf Raise 10 x 15
Seated Calf 5 x 15

Regretted this amount of work about 15 minutes after the session. Its a roast chicken, sweet and sour veg, Joloff rice and a jug of 'clear whey isolate for me followed by a treat of greek yoghurt and berries

also yesterday the owner of our gym did the Atlantis flat bench machine with 9 plates a side. 9 plates. he's 2 weeks into a 15 week contest prep.

Tops off on the gym floor - nope there is a posing room for that
Put your weights back or you are barred
De load all machines you plate load or banned
Don't growl and scream - one fella last week was doing that and everyone was laughing at him he sounded like he was giving birth

Over the years I've trained at some of the best gyms in the UK
In London
Muscleworks- j d dowadu . Jamo nezzar. Brian Buchanan. To name a few trained there
I trained at dowe dynamics with Ian dowe and ms o andrulla blanchette
And skyline in catford Kimberley Anne Jones gym - it was through her I ended up on the piss with iris Kyle

These were great gyms but this one is something else
They may still have an ice bath I used to use to help with my knees . Compression sleeves etc etc full supps and a new restaurant where healthy food is cooked to order.ifbb pros routinely train here when in UK

The owner trains hard leads from the front and it has everything

Even hanjins could improve his battered shit show here only his attitude would get him laid out at reception

10 x 10 cable pull apart (to spread bushes)
10 x 10 wrist curls (to...well....you know)
10 x 10 squat holds (squat while...umm...finishing)
10 x 100m sprints (in case I was caught and need to get away)
10 x 10 deadlifts (to pull pants up)
