Deadlifts is tomorrows plan still keeping it light though 5X10 is the plan. The one arm rows just kind of over engaged my core a bit felt a little funny no big deal. The deadlifts don't involve twisting of the abs they kind of twist when doing one arm rows which is why I kept the weight light and reps high and waited an extra week on them.

I think more about weekly volume and intensity when thinking about recovery it matters more than daily. Same thing with calories you guys get so caught up on daily calories and work instead of looking at weekly. But again I am still in surgical rehab mode just testing things out.

What Krank is doing isn`t as easy as "that guy" made it out to be.

He wasn`t trying to press the weight,I`m sure he could have if that was his intention,he was positioning it to start doing overhead squats......a very tough exercise......very tough.....only a dyed in the wool trainee has the guts to grind them out,so that eliminates "that guy".......takes a lot more than pure power to do them.........technique and balance, among a host of other variables that come into play.
this is very true.Try these and you will see how difficult they are.

Our resident badass fuckstick should have no problem doing them.   Oh...and to the depth I did (hip crease below the knee).

Alas....because of my pink thumb tape, sweaty hair, hankins-esque full head of hair, some fucking moles, and me talking straight out shit to him.....he won't do it.

It was by no means a PR....but I should be ashamed of myself for not being model material for the lift.

He isn't natty and he isn't 170lbs or 180lbs or 192lbs he is 205lbs on gear. I pressed 365lbs at 215lbs around the same time he is talking about and that was after my first pec tear (at 25 years old) and 3 shoulder surgeries(late 20s) at 37 years old. None of his lifts are anything all of us haven't done. He has benched 345lbs (taking his word) at his best early 30s that is pretty good but again so have you so have I so has half the damn board. He is now 40 and most recently is benching around 315lbs at 205lbs which isn't bad but isn't anything to write home about either.

Hey Bloated Gut Hankins....I decided to do an easy set of 3 OHS @ 155 after my normal lifting today.  Takes some of the pressure off of you to actually accomplish a snatch. 

I didn't want to go 1 rep as you would say you aren't doing maximal effort anymore...and I didn't want to do any higher reps or you would call it 'cardio'

And krank has let me down he claimed he was strict pressing 155lbs with his feet not coming off the ground instead he is bending his knees and throwing the weight up as his heels come off the ground not a press. All you did was squat 155lbs 3 times while balancing 155lbs you didn't even press it. And again I am not competing in any lifting challenges I am still in post surgery rehab but fuck I almost want to go do that right now as wtf is supposed to be impressive about it? I can press 155 I can hold 155 and I can squat 155 now doing it all at once may take some getting used to the balance and you are going to need stable shoulders which I may or may not have if I dont get it righ but from a strength perspective I see nothing challenging about this. Its a 155lb press and a 155lb squat at best and you didn't even press it right you used your legs and threw it up
