Today
40 minutes on the Assault Bike at Various Speeds and Methods--absolutely crushed destroyed my prior 40 minute calorie record, felt I could have done 40 more minutes. Gogooggogo
6 sets alternate db curls
4 sets cable curls
5 sets hammer curls
foam roller and ab  work this afternoon

Look, I know I have a longgggg way to go, but since I got this assault bike there have been big changes. My body, a bit, still a heavy guy, but my cardio is ridiculous. My bp was 117/78 yesterday and resting pulse is 61. Im super happy with progress and addicted to keeping going

Your blood pressure and resting pulse is excellent. So many guys forget the heart is a muscle and  don't exercise it. You obviously do.

It's 100% my main focus. If my body appearance improves along the way so be it....I want heart health, mobility and flexibility

Ok great let’s see it then lots of us don’t like the bench lots of us have shoulder issues and are old no one is expecting a 500lb bench press but show us something. It is absolutely not my strongest exercise either but I will still show something

I haven`t benched in years......I alternate between Smith Inclines and DB Inclines, along with DB Flyes and Dips......mainly.

Fuck benching I know so many guys with fucked up shoulders and/or torn pecs because of benching too heavy,far too often.

It`s an ego lift for most, and those who max at every other workout are the ones that later on in life wish they had trained smarter and left their egos outside the gym door.

I`m not referring to you at all Rich,just speaking in general terms from what I`ve witnessed over the years.

How is it age discriminatory? I literally tried to handicap it based on age and size the idea was to give everyone a makeable challenge. I even adjusted challenges per request.

how much did you load up on the bar?

doing normal reps in BNP'ed (behind the neck press) i can do 135 for a double today i did 5 secs postive and 5 second negative with 100 pounds for a triple all sets to failure

also did bench in that style for a 2 second hold at the chest for 175 for a triple normally i could do 225 for a triple

also did dumbbell skulls and rope pressdowns for a repeat performance with a normal rep speed

My heaviest set was 225, intended to do a set of 185x20 at the end but only got 10.
