How much did you sell the house for, Bhanky?
Not sold yet 3 days left of due diligence and 10 days until close don't want to jinx it also they may ask for money back based on inspection so we shall see. But regardless it's enough to buy a new house same size and invest a good bit for ongoing income. The suburbs of Raleigh are cheaper than waterfront at the beach. The new house is going to be every bit as nice we will just have trees in the backyard instead of water.
The big question is do I splurge and buy the house with a 2k square foot unfinished basement gym or do I just get a nice house with a 3 car garage for my equipment and go to the commercial gym some and save another 100k. Going to look at houses with realtor tomorrow. That basement gym is really nice with hvac but I could just put my stuff in the garage. I had wanted to move on from bodybuilding do some snowbaording maybe get a job or go to school but at the same time I like the idea of having a really nice gym space. Getting some new equipment and staying home and just eating and bulking in the basment does sound appealing.
