Maybe SC can be the Hero again and show us a deadlift on a regular bar this time. I am curios how 545 on a trap bar translates. He used a trap bar yes?

MattC 545 straight bar is why I stopped going heavier on deads as it looked like is was causing perm damage to his spine. So yeah lets see everyone else post some deadlifts lets see the bar they use and how it looks. I will participate if everyone else does or at least some others.

Honestly I do think I can do the 500 I felt 420 in my hands when I used the hex bar and it wasn’t bad but it’s gong to be a lot of stress on the left shoulder which is coming off an injury so it is a risk. All I am asking is some other people to participate let’s see a couple other members do some deadlifts. I also trained back yesterday

If 405 was on my bar I would try it right now and based on that give a better prediction of if I can hit the 500 but it’s not and yeah fuck loading 8 plates on a bar in my driveway that is more work than deadlifting I would rather just do some pullups

People die shoveling snow it’s not good to exert yourself with your head below your heart I am not going to have a heart attack loading a deadlift bar in my driveway

Like I said start a deadlift thread get some members to actually contribute and I will give it a try. I don't think it will be an issue. Kind of curios myself but yeah again loading up all the plates on a bar sounds like a pain in the ass. I may order one of those deadlift loader things.

I was actually thinking of getting some thinner plates just for my trap bar so it will fit more. I don't really need to injure myself but if everyone else puts up some decent deadlifts I will risk it.

And good form really left yourself and out to disqualify my lift I see
